I am ill off work but obviously still have to walk dogs - so today I took Bayley out with my dog walker for the extra hands and help. Bayley, Rhiannas buggy etc etc.

There was no one around in one area of the common so we played ball and Bayley got to stretch his legs properly.

He and Tabs ran and ran for the ball chasing, Bayley is so respectful if Tabs beats him to the ball and runs back beside her. Tabitha is not and if he beats her she snatches the ball off him, and he just lets her. Poor old Bayley!! Bayley loves a game of ball. He politely gives up the ball when he comes back (my dogs do not because of my terrible dog training ) Someone has trained Bayley very well.

Bayley is such a sweet little boy. Every day he gets more relaxed. Hes cuddly and so well trained - recall, his sit, his paw, his walking nicely on lead.

His door etiquette is improving all the time, as he gets more relaxed and he knows it doesnt impress me. He doesnt seem bothered by dogs up to his own size - he isnt a massive fan of big fluffy dogs, but hes not that strong and quite little, so hes easy to distract. Have a look at the comparison picture with Rhianna for scale. Tabitha is a titch. Rhianna is 26kg - and Bayley is just little.

I have a camera to keep an eye on Rhi when I am out, and so by default Bayley. He is completely non fussy when I am out. He just goes and sleeps in my bed. He has no anxiety or trouble being left.

More Bayley pictures!

Such a gorgeous day today, so a group of us went to Wimbledon Common all together. So nice to be able to do a really long walk with Rhianna, Tabs and Bayley. We were out for over 2 hours, and as I had help Rhi got to do what she could and when she got tired she rode like the Staffie Duchess she is in her buggy.

My friend Ali brought her dear lab Dunphy the Dog (his instagram handle) and while initially Bayley did not exactly approve, after a short while they could all walk together nicely and Bayley had a good sniff of Dunphs and accepted that he was in fact part of his posse. We plan another outing in Richmond Park next weekend.

Then home for dinner. I cook the dogs chicken every day to mix in with their biscuits. Bayley would like to put in a request that if you are to adopt him please can you continue to cook chicken. He likes it.

Bayley is ready to be someone’s running buddy! No more lead ragging when running.

I’ve entered a half marathon and Bayley' agreed to train with me. Not the long runs don’t worry!

We started gently tonight with a 2km - he helped shave 25seconds per km off my time! Thanks Bayley!

Early in the morning when it’s foggy and there’s no one around - that’s when we get to have a good play with the ball. He loves his ball and when we get to the front door after his walk I say ‘leave your balley’ and he puts it on the doorstep and goes inside.

He’s such a dear boy.

Unbelievably beautiful day yesterday so a group of us went for a 11km walk in Richmond Park

Bayley was so well behaved. He even had a swim in the secret dog swimming pond I know about. He loves swimming.

He was so relaxed. He loves hanging out with my friends. He’s such a sociable, cuddly and playful boy - he seems to really enjoy a group walk with everyone. Tabitha running about and Rhi in her buggy. Lovely day!
