you gotta love lily (and mika) they both know who their regular walkers are so lots of excitement when they first spot ure there especially if they are in the paddock where much tail wagging and a few sausages are the first order of the day then as the morning progresses they spot you from the window every time you walk past tails wagging again and patiently waiting their turn - in the past we would go in and their would be lots of playing "hard to get" running round the room as a bit of a game but nowadays they seem a lot keener to go out especially lily and once out lily is such an easy walk she likes to walk by your side and loves a few words of encouragement and strokes on the way round - she would rather watch mika in the stream rather than go in herself just a cool drink maybe and one of the easiest dogs you could ever get to walk and she behaved v well passing a couple of dogs last time the only time she ever pulls is when shes nearly "home" and cannot wait to get back to her room for a rest and of course she looks forward to and loves her end of walk sausages and meaty strips a great couple of walks last week and look forward to walking you both again soon xxxx

got double mugged yesterday when i went into lily & mikas room - after a few sausages and meaty strips each i left my treats out of reach and sat down and immediately lily jumped up on side of sofa and started licking my ears and face and then (not to be left out) mika leapt on to my lap for cuddles as well if you are one of their regular walkers they know how to show you affection - harnessed up and off we went lily has her own mind about routes and after visiting the stream you just try to go in a direction that is away from the kennels and she plants herself as she has great radar and knows her own mind and how far she wants to walk and while mika go's under lily leaps stiles in a v energetic way - you hardly know you have hold of a dog until you get back and near the kennels where her pace then picks up - back in their room its sausages and more friendly cuddles she really is a star dog

had the usual excited greeting at the window on arrival - very easy to harness (unlike mika playing his usual games yesterday) and v happy to trot out as long as we wernt going too far, down to the stream and then into the fields managing to sneak her a few sausages with out mika noticing we deigned to attempt to go down a route that wasnt quite the quickest way back to the kennels to which lily planted herself and looked at me with her stubborn face as if to say "you are not fooling me i know that way is longer" so lilys route it was - and once back she enjoyed the usual sausage fest - great walk as always lily

we took the tea room kids out for a gentle stroll down to the stream on tuesday - the river was deep foliage high so mika just had a quick dip while lily wasnt even going to venture down the steep bank (good thinking lily) as usual any attempt to deviate from the quickest route back was thwarted by lily who to say the least knows her own mind and doesnt like to needlessly over exercise these days - once back all fitness benefits from her walk were swiftly cancelled out by her love of sausages look forward to our next walk topgal

lovely welcome earlydoors from the terrific twosome in the paddock and then later off to the stream for a leisurely walk- managed to catch lily off guard by continuing down to the back lanes before she realised it was going to involve a lot of extra walking but to be fair she kept up a good pace throughout then unusually for her was quite willing to go the longer way back - before we had left someone had mysteriosly nipped in to their room without them noticing and ripped up a cushion so these two "angels" were rather glad their room had been tidied while they were out as they dont like a mess in their h.q. - great walk as always lils

lily wasnt quite feeling 100% yesterday wearing her inflatable doggie style "mae west" she was happy to come out with mika on a little walk but after only 20 minutes decided she'd had enough and chose the quickest route back to her "home" (a longer walk next time when you are feeling more like it lils) but on top form or not on returning she was more than happy to help us with our excess sausage problems - good girl lily

lily seems just about fully recovered now although her leg looked a bit sore and on top form nice too see her bound out rather than amble - happy for mika to lead her (as usual) we had a nice walk down to the stream where lily was more than happy to watch mika having a dip while she recieved a few cuddles instead she really is a happy girl

we wern't going to walk the tea room twosome this week but on arrival they were so pleased to see us lily banging her tail against the window and a lovely welcome when in their room that after walking our doggies we just had to have an extra walk with this duo - lily was v keen to get out a different dog to a few weeks back and walks at a much brisker pace these days and once back she wanted lots of strokes as well as forcing down a few sausages and treats - good girl lily
