Timmy Tim was bounding about in the sunshine this morning. I love this energetic, fun, playful side he is showing at the moment. He seems so happy.

Timmy seems to have found a new lease of life recently and was very excited to be going on his walk. He came out of his kennel like a true gent, stopping for me to clip the lead in and then off we went. Timmy was a bit oily for the first part of his walk but I think this was just enthusiasm to be out and after about 10-15 minutes he relaxed and walked calmly by my side.

The other very noticeable thing about Timmy these days is how connected he is with his walker. He regularly checked in with me with a look and even gave me a couple of little leans for affectionate contact which was so lovely as Timmy is not the most affectionate dog but clearly his time in foster is showing him that some humans are worth letting in and the returns are so much.

Timmy is the happiest boy I’ve met in a long time, even in kennels he takes everything in his stride and is just happy for the time he gets. He is good with other dogs and if not crowded makes are truly lovely companion.

Ah Timmy had two walks today then, as I walked him in the morning 0002.gif]
Yes, he certainly is in good spirits recently, and has a bounce in his step.

I had to text Barry, Timmy’s very best friend in the whole world and sleepover buddy, to see if he’d been feeding Timmy Redbull!!! When I walked Timmy today he had such enthusiasm about him, bounding down the lane, doing little bunny hops, he was like a puppy! He brought a big smile to my face - he was soooo happy to be going for a walk even in the pouring rain. I didn’t try to get Timmy to stop pulling - I loved how happy he was, made me happy. He is now tucked up in his bed at Barry’s house, bless him. Xx.

Everyone has been remarking on Timmy Tim's bouncy, enthusiasm recently so I thought I would try and capture this on a video for you all to enjoy. I am really left trying to keep up with him at times. 0002.gif] We all want some of the elixir which Timmy seems to be on!

Super cool Timmy Tim was a fantastic role model for new boy Hudson this morning and he was happy to show him around our favourite walking route.
