Arturo has landed for the weekend. He's been over for the afternoon a few times and it's been a pleasure to have him. So, we thought he could stay a bit longer.

As usual he's been a little restless but settles ok. As soon as I sit down he's up next to me making himself at home. It'll be interesting at bedtime! Arthur likes to be close by and likes a lot of attention. We've just been for a walk round the block and he is currently crashed out beside me.

Arthur has been good company. We've been out round the park and round the block twice. We've tried to slow down on the walking as he does pull before he settles. Work in progress!

He's good indoors, likes a lot of attention and hasn't eaten much. I've left him alone to go up the shop and he's been fine. Arthur is a people person in need of TLC. Follows me around and looks me straight in the eye. He's wanting of, and trying to give so much.

We met Arthur in the car park on the way back from his weekend with Stephen and it was lovely to see just how relaxed he was. Arthur waited very nicely and accepted cuddles whilst we had a chat about his weekend away. On the walk, Arthur continues to show just how far he has come since we first started walking him. We past several obstacles such as bikes, walkers and dogs including Yoda (RR) and Arthur didn't react, he just carried on with his walk. After the walk, we went to the paddock for Arthur's favourite activity, fetch!

I love walking Arthur. We usually start in the paddock playing ball and then go for a walk - as this means he works off his energy and walks mostly on a slack lead, stopping for a graze from time to time. He's a great dog and a pleasure to take out.

Arthur is a perfect house guest. He's been getting a lot of rest while here but we did have a decent walk round the field this morning. Arthur walks so much better on the extender lead. As the field was empty I duly obliged and with nothing to pull against he enjoyed the freedom.

I've tried him with wet dog food, kibble, cod fillets and boiled meat - most of which he just looks at! He did eat half of my rump steak, again, (out of my hand) and some of the boiled meat.

Arthur will gladly sit beside you all day. Being with someone is his joy. Kennel life must be very difficult for him. Currently he is next door to me, on his back, with one paw on my leg and 2 under my arm pit. We're meeting Mia the alphapha bulldog at the park at 8pm. Hopefully they'll be some chemistry.

Bringing Arthur back today. We met Mia the bulldog up the park last night and he more or less ignored her. She was a little excited to see me as I walk occasionally walk her. So we decided no introductions were to be made.

Arthur has been great and rarely leaves my side. He's had a few good walks and has been no trouble at all. He tends to eat a small portion of food a few times a day - enough to get himself by I suppose? He hasn't picked anything up that he shouldn't and as long as he has a little play here and there he is quite content.

Arthur is such a loving dog. Today he didn’t want to play ball as much as usual and just wanted cuddles in the paddock and an amble through the woods. He’s very gentle taking treats or dropping the ball and has really settled into his walks. He’s become one of my regulars - and he’s pleasure to take out. His home must be out there - Arthur is a great dog.

Over the past few weeks, Arthur has experienced some lovely social walks with Hugo, his neighbour Eugene and today with Yoda. Arthur seems to really enjoy having a friend on his walk, it definitely relaxes him more and allows him to settle into a slower pace than usual. We’ve also been exposing Arthur to traffic which is something he’s still unsure about but he’s responding well.

We haven't been lucky enough to walk Arthur for a while so were very happy to spend some time with him yesterday. He is such a gorgeous boy and whilst he is still very excited to leave the kennels, once you're out he calms down a lot quicker than he used to. We had a lovely walk and play in the paddock. Fetch is by far his favourite activity but he does love to stop for a roll in the grass every so often. We are very fond of this beautiful boy.
