Beethoven's Story: Beethoven is 2 years old and very much the terrier looking for a family who are enchanted by his terrier nature and can manage him! Previous family were out of their depth. Rescue Remedies offered a Rescue place saving his life. Beethoven is neutered, chipped, and vaccinations are in progress. Beethoven is coming in to boarding kennels near Gatwick whilst awaiting heris new family.

If interested in rehoming one of our dogs, the first step is to complete and submit our ONLINE HOMING QUESTIONNAIRE. We do not discuss dogs without a homing questionnaire submission. You must be ready and sadly due to unprecedented interest, we will only be able to contact you if we have a suitable dog. For more detailed information, please see our Homing Process.

Please support our work and help our long stay dogs: Our minimum adoption donation is £200. This supports our continuing rescue work and is non-refundable. We exist solely due to the goodwill and donations of our supporters and volunteers. Our dogs need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes. Our Rescue offers all our dogs back-up for life.

Please note: Dog laws have changed, with zero public tolerance and prejudice against bull breeds and terriers. Our Rescue asks new owners to keep their dog on a lead in public spaces and manage and support its encounters with new dogs and people, so as not to place the dog's life at risk. Destruction and Control Orders are commonplace nowadays.

Beethoven's progress through our Rescue is below.
We work with our dogs, who often reveal a different picture and positive skills as they build trust.

Saw this dear little dog through his pen door today and by the end of the day he had accepted a bit of cheese and sausages. He will settle in time but at the moment needs lots of tlc. I'm really looking forward to walking him and meeting him properly. love4.gif

What a treat to walk Beethoven! Timid in his kennel with some persuasion needed to leave, but once away from the block he relaxed and enjoyed exploring the woods and the lane, taking no notice of any of the dogs we met. An endearing boy who charmed everyone he met love4.gif

Beethoven is a very sweet boy. He is a little overwhelmed by his surroundings at the moment and looks very serious in all his photos. We will help him settle and find his smile. I think he will be very popular with our lovely volunteer walkers.

we took beethoven out with missy & tommie the welsh terrier and after reading his history we were wary of him getting too close to either of the other two but he wanted to get near and pulled towards missy he was v enamoured with her and happily walked side by side with both dogs dishing out staffie bumps to each other he also got on v well with tommie and we couldnt have had a more friendly & pleasant walk they were all so well behaved and couldnt recommend all three dogs more highly- once out and about beethoven seems a very calm and placid dog and whoever gets this bundle of fun will be very lucky
