Oliver's Story: Oliver was found abandoned and unclaimed within a E Midlands council pound. Rescue Remedies offered a Rescue place saving his life. Oliver is neutered neutered, chipped, and fully vaccinated. Oliver was in boarding kennels near Gatwick whilst awaiting his new family.

If you are interested in rehoming one of our dogs, please complete our ONLINE HOMING QUESTIONNAIRE. It is always the first step in our rehoming process. Upon application, you must be ready to take in your new dog within seven days. For more detailed information, please see our Homing Process.

Please support our work and help our long stay dogs: Our minimum adoption donation is £175. This supports our continuing rescue work and is non-refundable. We exist solely due to the goodwill and donations of our supporters and volunteers. Our dogs need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes. Our Rescue offers all our dogs back-up for life.

Please note: Dog laws have changed, with zero public tolerance and prejudice against bull breeds and terriers. Our Rescue asks new owners to keep their dog on a lead in public spaces and manage and support its encounters with new dogs and people, so as not to place the dog's life at risk. Destruction and Control Orders are commonplace nowadays.

Oliver's progress through our Rescue is below.
We work with our dogs, who often reveal a different picture and positive skills as they build trust.
Original Referral information: 25.01.20: Hi Lynne. Desperate please for help with Oliver a young male who is at risk. Not a bad assessment but he is becoming stressed in kennels and very strong for the staff to handle. He will not be offered to the public for rehoming so desperately needs a safe rescue space. Can you help??? Margaret xx

Oliver is a very lovely dog, he's young, quite strong but super biddable and seems very friendly with people and dogs. Very puppy-like but has definitely learnt some skills in his past because he has lovely manners.

Oliver is a happy, chilled out dude. He is strong but he walked well on the lead for me as we explored down the lane together. He has a lovely friendly nature and is an all round lovely boy.

I had a lovely walk and paddock time with Oliver last Saturday. He is so much fun with a lovely, kind nature. He will make a fabulous forever home dog!

I walked Oliver the other day, he is a lovely dog, so friendly. He was more then happy for me to come into his kennel and take him out for a walk. He’s very excitable and strong but also very interactive when you are out, and he likes his food so I think he would do well with some one to one from his owner. He has a big character and is wasted here in kennels, it would be lovely to see him in a home where he can really thrive.

We met and walked Oliver for the first time today. The walk was certainly a workout as he's a strong boy who loves being out and about, but he listens well and was happy to wait for Helen to catch up after we went for a little run a couple of times. Oliver is a gorgeous boy with lovely manners and had a great time in the paddock after our walk where he seemed to enjoy the fuss and belly rubs as much as playing ball - such a lovely young dog love4.gif
