Kirby is a great boy. I love the welcome I get when I enter his kennel, happy jumps and a bear hug like only a large dog can give. He can be strong if he sees something which needs investigating but is easily managed. Kirby loves his time off lead in the paddock - zoomies for 2 minutes, fuss for 20 minutes love4.gif. He’s a big, friendly boy, loves saying hello to all of the other walkers. Xx

Kirby my Valentine k2727.gif
Kirby was meant to be second dog on my walking list on the 14 Feb , but he spotted me across the yard, and called and pranced quite clearly saying "Hooray, it's YOU, me first, me first!". Who could resist? Kirby is a big, affectionate galumph of a boy. Love him.

We've been walking him in public with a muzzle as we think this will make it easier for a new family to socialise. Bless Kirby, he puts the muzzle on with no fuss at all. As one of the wonderful kennel staff said to me, "Kirby is so accepting of everything." I'm a bit late posting, but muzzle on, Jess and I had a lovely walk last week together with young Presa Canario, Delta, and Kirby. They were aware of each other, but so well behaved, and we think both enjoyed the company. Delta was flirting a little with my beautiful Kirby boy (of course) ;).

This week, Kirby and I went for a walk together through the woods. He was a really good boy when passing a few local off-lead dogs. He waits nicely with me to the side and lets them pass with no reaction at all.

A few other things that are great about Kirby:
- He's always happy
- He often leaves some of his breakfast for later, but then once he's back from a walk he's hungry and rushes in to gobble up his leftovers, and then smiles about it
- He tries to always keep his kennel clean
- He's so playful
- And cuddly
-He likes to jump up with joy in greeting, but listens well and tries hard to keep his bottom on the floor when I tell him to!
- He loves watching all the action in the yard, and calls out happy greetings to the people he specially knows.

This boy is lovely i think he has some husky in him, would you like to be mommy or daddy to the worlds first Huskita?

Hes a really gentle boy for such a big dog and loves to jump up and give you a kiss, he looks right into your eyes.

I ran with him and you can see the husky bounce, he's powerful but in a beautiful way, he was an absolute pleasure to walk.

Kirby has become one of my favourite dogs to walk. He's always so happy to see me and ready to get out for his walk. He is easy to muzzle and get going. Today he loved splashing in the stream -- though his habit of putting his head into my groin for a stroke and scratch did leave me with an embarrassing wet patch.
He walks well and enjoys sniffing the greenery and is easy to distract from other dogs in his muzzle. What Kirby loves more than anything is people -he's a gentle, cuddly lad

Strolled through the shady woods today with our boy Kirby. He is so affectionate and trusting. Great company to be with. A very fine animal. positivo1.gif

I took Kirby out for an evening stroll today. He had already been out for a walk in the morning but he likes to be clean in his kennel so we popped out again. Kirby is very soft and very fluffy. He had got his leg through his harness when I entered the kennel so I had a good excuse for a cuddle whilst I took it off and started again thumbs.gif
He walks so nicely and we pottered around the woods for a little while before heading back for him to settle down for the evening.

Kirby is one of my favourite dogs to take out for a walk — he’s such an easy walk and affectionate. He can be cheeky in the paddock as he hides on the other side of the tree from me when he sees me pick up his lead to take him back to the paddock.

Kirby decided to take my toes for a paddle the other day. For a big guy he was very gentle with me when trying to get down the steep river bank. He is a hundred percent fluff and was very patiently plodding along ignoring my grooming attempts. He’s a big fluff full of cuddles. Never met a soppier dog in my life.

Enjoy the video of Kirby being a pretty river princess XD

Kirby is such an understated dog and I realise when I walk him he’s one of my favourites.
Kirby is such a gentle soul and is an easy walk. I really am surprised Kirby is in kennels and that he hasn’t been snapped up. Here is my list of likes about Kirby:
- very friendly,
- listens and is responsive
- accepts his muzzle easily even thought he doesn’t really like it
- Leans in for cuddles and attention
- good steady walk, no pulling and just likes to mooch
- companionable with other dogs on a walk
- leaps over stiles 0002.gif]
- does a lovely little hoppy dance when he’s excited or wants your attention

There must be a home for Kirby out there, look at him he’s gorgeous, inside and out!
