Hugo is such a lovely character. His quirks are endearing. He just loves being out and about.

What a character hugo is. And what a charm to be around. Vulnerable and nervous and yet very friendly and trusting.

Took Hugo out for a walk today. Been a good while since last did this and pleasantly surprised how foot perfect Hugo was, considering it was late in the day and he’d watch everyone go out, me walk back and forth around the kennels with other dogs before getting out himself.
Hugo was confident but not pulling, we passed a lot of people as a warmer day and walkers everywhere and no issue for Hugo. Absolutely no lunging and really he didn’t pay much attention other than the pack of 5 people and 4 dogs who we gave way too, no reaction other than to watch and I caught the last walker give our Hugo an admiring glance.
Hugo really would make a fantastic companion for someone, he had manners and knows his commands, accepts his muzzle for walks fine and a loyal friend.

I’ve been getting to know Hugo over the past couple of weeks. Hugo walks very well, very little pulling however can be strong in the mud but listens well to commands given. Hugo is a lovely boy, he definitely enjoyed the drier weather and loved to have a splash and a drink in the stream. There were times in the walk I picked up the pace and turned it into a run, Hugo seemed to love the opportunity to stretch his legs and you could see the smile on his face. Hugo has such a great personality, he can be a bit nervous but is quick to trust.

What a wonder this boy is. Really lovely leisurely walk today. Hugo loves to sniff and he makes this adorable snuffly noise and i have nicknamed him mr snuffleupagus (I don't know if anyone remembers him from sesame street). Hugo buries his head deep in the greenery, he loves to roll around on the grass and today was no exception as it was such a lovely sunny day. He also loves water and couldn't resist a paddle. It was a busy day out with lots of traffic, cyclists, walkers and dogs and Hugo was impeccably behaved, waiting patiently for everyone to pass and totally unphased by passing traffic he is a true gentleman. We finished the walk with paddock time he enjoyed a game of ball and his favorite is getting on top of the table with you sitting below so he can shower you in kisses which I was happy to accept Kiss of love.gif

I had a lovely walk and paddock time with Hugo on Saturday. Just like Eggyem says Hugo loves to give kisses!

Hugo is a great dog. Loving, playful and a great character. Does have his issues with strangers walking close by to him due to his nervousness, but even so, he's such a lovely dog. We had a great 121 in the paddock, with some major cuddle time on the hammock swing. I've missed him.

It was great to spend sometime with Hugo today, he’s got such a great personality and he definitely enjoyed the sunny weather on our walk. Hugo can be strong at times, but on the whole he walks very well and enjoys stopping regularly for a sniff. Hugo also enjoyed some time in the water, cooling off and having a drink!

Hugo had a stroll with Champ the other weekend and was the perfect gent. I think he helped Champ chill as Hugo has such a calming energy around other dogs. I love this boy to bits and really hope his forever home finds him soon.
