I cannot belive Simon is still in kennels.

I have walked this magnificent boy twice now and he has absolutely stolen my heart. He is kind, gentle and has a really sweet temperament. He gets into his harness lovely and walks nicely (on both a short and long lead). He LOVES a cuddle and being wrapped up in his very snazzy reflective coat haha.

Simon is truly wonderful and I hope he finds his forever home soon. He has been paw-perfect so far.

I think it's important to remember though that when considering adopting a dog, the dog needs far more time to settle. They have been taken from one place to the next and need time to allow things to calm down. Not only have a lot of our dogs had really bad starts to life, or experienced some type of trauma, they are then expected to walk nicely with 'strangers' (the RR volunteers) at the kennels and then be perfect when going to a home with new people, new smells and this can all be very overwhelming.

A rescue doggo needs someone extra special to look after them. I am sure, however, that Simon will find his hoomans soon.

Simon Staffie (xAmbull) has a lot of females in Guildford cooing over him; he has magnificient colouring and is so very gentle.... today was my first time walking him and I can see why he has a following. The only time he pulled (a little bit) was to catch up with Rocky and on the return walking alongside the busy road, all the rest of the time it was slack leads. This boy has a wonderful nature and shows good vibes to all things (two or four legged). He remained very white even though it was very muddy - I'm not sure exactly how he did that and given the mud on my trousers!?

Sweet, sensitive Simon has found his forever.
Some very special people came from south London today with only one boy in their minds......and he didn’t disappoint.
We spent an hour or two together in the winter sunshine with everyone getting to know each other and when the time came for the “shall we?” decision it was a unanimous “yes”!
Simon didn’t hesitate for a second when the car door was open and he promptly rolled all over the back seat leaving little room for Lilly and Sylvie!
Wishing you all many happy years together.
