Walked Penny on her own today (Judy was having a day out/cat test) and I found her to be so much more calm than when with Judy - especially when exiting the kennel area/car park. I was prepared for her being lively/jumping but she was so good, excited yes but she controlled it really well, lots of good girls from me and she walked out easily and all away along the road. thumbs.gif We were out for an hour and a half and she was so good, a bit of pulling sometimes but also slack leads at others. She definitely knows her name and does listen to commands, she gives great eye contact and loves treats so I think she would be easy to train. When we got back I gave her a brush as she is very hairy and I think she really liked it. This girl has so much potential if someone is willing to give her the time.
Love her fluffy blonde bits of fur

It was a wet dreary day, so I took Penny into the store room to give her a bit of a towel down and some treats after our walk. She's a lovely dog with so much potential for training. She naturally walks to heel mostly, except when excited.

I walked Penny for the first time today and what a lovely girl she is. Responds really nicely, great walking with her kennel mate little Ollie, and always happy to stop for a cuddle and a treat. She's really ready and raring to go to her new home.

The lovely Penny came for a walk with myself, my mum and our dog (Badger) this morning. My dog can be a bit nervous meeting other dogs and Penny was just the perfect companion for him!
She’s got such a lovely temperament and will do anything to please her people. She also LOVES a cuddle and a gravy bone.

Penny is STILL homeless. She’s here in kennels with her mum, Judy. The pair can be homed together but also separately.

I took the lovely penny out again this week, I just cannot understand how she is here in kennels. We went for a walk down by the canal in the sun, penny behaved wonderfully the entire way and had a bit of a swim to cool down. I always have to stop and give her treats or a cuddle because she just looks at me with that gorgeous face of hers and I can’t resist. love4.gif

I haven’t walked Penny for a while and she is so different now, a pleasure to spend time with. She walked so nicely on the lead and is so much more connected with you. We had a nice walk along the river and stopped to cool down. Penny loves her walks and seemed very happy and relaxed.
