The Pets Corner that I collect donations from in Poundhill, Crawley, inside the Wyevale Garden Centre, have just advised me that they will be having a special event on 9th February from 10.30 onwards, a doggy portrait day. They have chosen Rescue Remedies as their charity this year and will be holding a raffle/tombola to raise funds for us. There will be space for a small information stand and they'd welcome a few RR dogs, both homed and those still searching. They have said that the event can get quite crowded so non reactive dogs would probably be best. Penny, my RR Shih Tzu, and I will be there for most of the day but we'd love some help - if only so we can both go for a wee! It would be fabulous to have some staffies and terriers to show what we are really about. If you think you might be able to spare an hour or two, with or without a dog, to tell the locals all about us then come on down, if you'd just like a doggy portrait then that's good too.
Just a reminder of this event on Saturday. It would be great to have some RR representation to say thank you and show support for Pets Corner and their donations. Penny and I will be there from 10.30 but we'd love some company xx
Another lovely offer from Pets Corner, I'm at Guildford kennels on Saturday but hope anyone who goes has the best day!
After I've finished walking tomorrow morning at the kennels, I'll pop in to say hello and bring my Lhasa Apso along :)
I'll definitely be there too once I've finished walking.
Fabulous, can’t wait to see you folks
Great day with the team at Pets Corner, they raised just under £50 for Rescue Remedies on the lucky dip/tombola, we met loads of doggy people with their four legged friends and picked up yet another trolley load of food! Thank you loads and thanks to Kate and Louise for coming along and helping to spread the RR message.
