Rory's Story: Rory was found abandoned and unclaimed within a Welsh council pound. Rescue Remedies offered a Rescue place saving his life. Rory is neutered, chipped, and vaccinated. Rory is boarding kennels near Gatwick whilst awaiting his new family.

If you are interested in rehoming one of our dogs, please complete our ONLINE HOMING QUESTIONNAIRE. It is always the first step in our rehoming process. Upon application, you must be ready to take in your new dog within seven days. For more detailed information, please see our Homing Process.

Please support our work and help our long stay dogs: Our minimum adoption donation is £175. This supports our continuing rescue work and is non-refundable. We exist solely due to the goodwill and donations of our supporters and volunteers. Our dogs need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes. Our Rescue offers all our dogs back-up for life.

Please note: Dog laws have changed, with zero public tolerance and prejudice against bull breeds and terriers. Our Rescue asks new owners to keep their dog on a lead in public spaces and manage and support its encounters with new dogs and people, so as not to place the dog's life at risk. Destruction and Control Orders are commonplace nowadays.

Rory has arrived...so wonderful to witness him zooming around the paddock with glee, this is despite the fact that the poor lad is suffering fro diarrhoea so had a very uncomfortable 5 hour journey from west Wales. Welcome wizkid!

I had a great time with Rory on Friday as part of my induction. He's super friendly, loves lots of cuddles and kisses.

So well behaved when we were out walking, he mainly stayed in front, leading the way without pulling. He likes a human to go in front if there are some scary brambles in front of him so he knows its safe.

An absolute delight to spend time with ❤

I met the lovely Rory today for the first time and took him for his walk. What a lovely boy, very happy for human attention when first coming into his kennel and loves to receive cuddles and treats. He doesn't snatch and is just constantly smiling 😊

He was great on his walk, he made a few whines when near dogs but doesn't seem to care otherwise. We also saw a deer which he pricked up his ears for, but again not any reaction at all.

He is sweet and a little cautious, he likes to walk behind his walker when the footpath gets a bit thin, I thought he was very cute!

Such a happy boy, he would be great in a comfy home!

Not being a 'lurcher kind of girl', I agreed to take out Rory whilst Fiona took out Ronnie! Rory was really friendly in his kennel, up on his hind legs and keen to get on his way. He took sausages gently and was a lovely walk whilst out. I agree with all of Chloe's comments. There were a few little whines along the way but other than that he walked really calmly. We stood to one side as two horses trotted by and he didn't seem at all bothered by them. Would I take Rory out again, yes....of course I would. :smiley-bounce016.gi:
