Isla's Story: Isla was found abandoned and unclaimed within a North London council pound. Rescue Remedies offered a Rescue place saving her life. Isla is now neutered, chipped, and fully vaccinated. Isla was in boarding kennels near Gatwick then homed with a family with children whilst awaiting her new family.

If you are interested in rehoming one of our dogs, please complete our ONLINE HOMING QUESTIONNAIRE. It is always the first step in our rehoming process. Upon application, you must be ready to take in your new dog within seven days. For more detailed information, please see our Homing Process.

Please support our work and help our long stay dogs: Our minimum adoption donation is £175. This supports our continuing rescue work and is non-refundable. We exist solely due to the goodwill and donations of our supporters and volunteers. Our dogs need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes. Our Rescue offers all our dogs back-up for life.

Please note: Dog laws have changed, with zero public tolerance and prejudice against bull breeds and terriers. Our Rescue asks new owners to keep their dog on a lead in public spaces and manage and support its encounters with new dogs and people, so as not to place the dog's life at risk. Destruction and Control Orders are commonplace nowadays.

Isla's progress through our Rescue is below.
We work with our dogs, who often reveal a different picture and positive skills as they build trust.

What a friendly, gentle, loving girl, and with such stunning looks. Isla walked beautifully with little staffie Jack this morning. She is a beauty.

This lovely girl is having some time out with us at the moment and she is proving a big hit. Isla has done the school run and many of the parents are very taken with her love4.gif

Isla is a gentle soul and loves nothing more than curling up on her bed or on a chair getting herself in to a variety of different positions.

She takes treats well and is very responsive to people and gentle with children. On walks she is interested in other dogs, squirrels and birds but only wants to play.

Anyone who takes Isla in to their family will be very lucky as she is a real sweetheart.

What a lovely day for Isla meeting her new family. She and Bertie had a run round the garden and I am sure will enjoy lots of fun together.

Thanks to the Porter’s for giving her such a great home and new family, I know she will bring you lots of joy x

Well what a joy to meet this beautiful easy girl today. She's worried by all the racket in kennels, so I really hope she finds a foster or permanent home very soon . I wish I could, but timing not right for us.
