Ah the lovely king has stayed with me for a week and has been meeting new doggie friends and working on being left for longer periods at a time. He is so good in the house and with my dog and generally meets dogs well. He likes a calm chilled doggie friend and needs to learn how to play with other dogs and build his confidence.

I have been fostering king since the end of September now part time and we are now up to king feeling comfortable being left for about 3ish hours. He is so clean in the house and has now decided he likes sleeping under the duvet every night ❤️

King has had a busy week meeting by friend who came to stay for the weekend and some of my dog walkers. He was wary of them to start with and can be nervous of new people so slow introductions are good to give him time to feel safe and comfortable with them. His new home will need to be mindful of this and continue to support him in this area. King also needs a calm quiet environment as when he becomes over excited he can become grabby and again he needs support with this and continued work. Once you know king all of these are manageable in the right environment and he is improving all the time.

King came to stay for a long weekend and was so well behaved. He is such a cuddle monster and a really affectionate boy.

He’s started to learn to play with other dogs which is lovely to see and walks well with dogs.

King flourishes in a calm home and gains his confidence from other chilled dogs. He needs slow introductions to new people but after a few minutes he’s fine.

King missed out of his puppy years so is just enjoying learning how to be a young dog.

He is learning to be left for longer periods of time and his new humans will need to be continue with this.

King is a gorgeous lurcher with no prey drive. He travels well in the car and is easy to walk.

King would love to be homed and loved on his very own sofa❤️❤️

King has had a busy week in foster with me this week. I work long hours and have two lovely dog walkers come and walk king and my dog carms. He’s really growing in confidence with them both and walking well with them.

I have also introduced king to some of my friends and they have been also popping in to my flat to sit with him in the day to give him a a bit more company.

He is doing well and it will take him a while to feel more confident at being left alone.

What king ideally wants is a person that either works from home or is retired. Has another chilled doggie in the home so king can learn to play with them and gain confidence socialising. He has never really played with another dog and is just starting to play bow with dogs now which is so lovely to see.

He needs a really chilled home, slow introductions with strangers and loves nothing more than sleeping on the bed or sofa. Because he’s a big puppy still he needs to learn how to play appropriately, he’s getting there but when over excited he can be grabby.

Once you know him this is easy to manage and now that he is settled with me he does not do it to me anymore. However when you have people come round he needs to be calm and he needs time to get to know friends at his pace.

He is such a beautiful boy he just needs an experienced person who has the time and love to give him to settle in ❤️❤️
