If you are interested in rehoming one of our dogs, please complete our ONLINE HOMING QUESTIONNAIRE. It is always the first step in our rehoming process. Upon application, you must be ready to take in your new dog within seven days. For more detailed information, please see our Homing Process.
Please support our work and help our long stay dogs: Our minimum adoption donation is £175. This supports our continuing rescue work and is non-refundable. We exist solely due to the goodwill and donations of our supporters and volunteers. Our dogs need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes. Our Rescue offers all our dogs back-up for life.
Please note: Dog laws have changed, with zero public tolerance and prejudice against bull breeds and terriers. Our Rescue asks new owners to keep their dog on a lead in public spaces and manage and support its encounters with new dogs and people, so as not to place the dog's life at risk. Destruction and Control Orders are commonplace nowadays. Evan's progress through our Rescue is below.
We work with our dogs, who often reveal a different picture and positive skills as they build trust.
Original Referral information: 10th Jul 19: Desperate dogs!!
Have you got any room at the Inn by any chance!! X L WWP
Evan: Am bull, barely a year old if that. Lovable boy but again typical of the breed and full of fun but with no malice. Seems fine with other dogs.
Evan comes into our Rescue in August 19

Evan arrived today he is a big lad who has a calm & affectionate nature. We are all looking forwards to getting to know Evan over the next few weeks and hopefully introducing him to his new family when they step forwards.

Evan is a lovely, lovely boy! Cheeky boy had chewed his harness off so had to put a new one on - usually he has a Kong to occupy him in his kennel but this had disappeared so he chose to mouth my arms and hands instead! Some of his mouthing was a bit over the top but nothing so strong that i got any bruises or marks.
Evan pulled initially leaving the kennel but then walked beautifully. He is more of a plod-along-and-sniff kind of dog than I'm used to but this makes him a really manageable, easy walk! Another dog barked at Evan at one point and he was interested but quickly moved on. I then took him for a run in the paddock where he had some good zoomies and chased a flat football around! Ella came to join and he did a bit more mouthing in his excitement to see her but soon went back to playing nicely.
Evan really is a stunning boy, his photos don't do him justice! Fingers crossed his home will come soon - he will make a wonderful companion and friend

Second walk with evan today i knew that another pup would steal my heart after trevor and blue and herehe is Evan the adorable ambulllx
Evan is still a youngest who strong but in a puppy way he needs patience and calm when entering his kennel as he really want to play with you as only younger dog play grabbing but in an affectionate way but he will respond to a firm sit . Once out of kennels and initial calming down evan will walk well but can be a little spooked by certain things so he needs to be reassurres as hes still young. Passed other dogs today at a distance interested but no barking just a look even when we walked out in frontof another kennel mate
No problem. Spent time in paddock where time to chill with evan
Evan will need a home with someone who will continue his life skill and appreciate he a big puppy and in return he will be that loveable ambull
