Reggie's Story: Reggie and Ronnie were handed into a vets by their owner. The vets agreed to take them in to avoid them being given away on free adds. The vets kindly neutered them for us in gratitude of us being the only Rescue they contacted who would save their lives. Rescue Remedies offered a Rescue place saving their life. Reggie & Ronnie are neutered, chipped, and fully vaccinated. Reggie & Ronnie were in boarding kennels near Gatwick whilst awaiting their new family.

If you are interested in rehoming one of our dogs, please complete our ONLINE HOMING QUESTIONNAIRE. It is always the first step in our rehoming process. Upon application, you must be ready to take in your new dog within seven days. For more detailed information, please see our Homing Process.

Please support our work and help our long stay dogs: Our minimum adoption donation is £175. This supports our continuing rescue work and is non-refundable. We exist solely due to the goodwill and donations of our supporters and volunteers. Our dogs need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes. Our Rescue offers all our dogs back-up for life.

Please note: Dog laws have changed, with zero public tolerance and prejudice against bull breeds and terriers. Our Rescue asks new owners to keep their dog on a lead in public spaces and manage and support its encounters with new dogs and people, so as not to place the dog's life at risk. Destruction and Control Orders are commonplace nowadays.

I got to meet Reg and his brother Ron on Thursday. They were both still a bit 'under the influence' after their snip ops. They are a utter delight. Ron was a bit nervous as he has very sore eyes so was not keen on the harness going over his head. Reg is the more confident one.

They really are a great pair who obviously love each other. When Ron became nervous at times Reg would go over to reassure him. So sweet.

Ronnie and Reggie helped me with some taster walks yesterday - they did so well, I don’t think they are used to walking far but are a joy on the lead, lovely easy walk thumbs.gif

Louise and I had a lovely walk with Reggie and Ronnie this morning. They are delightful, very bonded brothers. Reggie is the more confident one at the moment and enjoyed a good old roll about in the grass while on our walk.

Ronnie and reggie are the sweetest pair of brothers. They are missing each other terribly as at present they can’t share a kennel as Ronnie had to have an operation on his eyes as is currently sporting the cone of shame as he keeps rubbing them and so we took them for a lovely walk together. This pair really are very connected and walk so well together, they constantly check in with each other, making sure they are ok and wait for each other whilst the other does their business etc. Reggie is the more confident of the 2 but both are just so clam and sweet and we are just hoping that their special home who is happy to take them as a pair comes very soon. It really would be horrible to separate these 2 as their love is so obvious and as they are so good, very easy on lead and not too big hopefully a home together will be possible.

Walked Reggie with his brother Ronnie today. What gorgeous sweet boys - very bonded and Reggie would look out for Ronnie and wait for him to catch up if he fell behind (he likes to sniff!!) - very friendly, a joyous walk and such a lovely pair Heart fill with love.gif]

Geoff and I walked Ronnie and Reggie today. I had the pleasure of walking them last week but Geoff was desperate to meet them and walk them and they didn’t disappoint! Geoff took Reggie as he is the more confident of the two, and I had Ronnie. However it took a very short time for Ronnie to decide Geoff was the love of his life and we had to stop for lots of cuddles! These boys are just gorgeous, really easy to walk, very well behaved. A fabulous pair. Reggie didn’t want me to feel left out of the general love in, so a little later in the walk he waited for Ronnie and me to catch up, so he could give me a cuddle and a lick. Total sweethearts. :smiley-bounce016.gi:

I took Reggie out for the first time this afternoon together with Jan who walked Ronnie. It was just so wonderful to see how Reggie looks out for his brother who is still recovering from his eye op and also seemed to have sensitive paws on the hard surface so we tried to walk mainly on the grass. As Reggie was mainly in the lead every now and again he stopped and walked back to Ronnie to check to make sure he was alright before carrying on. On a few occasions Reggie stopped and enjoyed wriggling around on his back in the grass. What gorgeous affectionate boys, I will certainly look forward to walking them again. love4.gif
