I am constantly amazed at just how little and petite Mia is. She has been enjoying her walks although she is somewhat self contained. I think she would really benefit from being able to attached herself to just one person. Hopefully a home or foster place will come up for her soon.

Oh Mia, Oh Mia wasn't prepared for our meeting today. First out of the kennels she came and we were taken by a storm. She was running and playing and tossing her toys and carrying and chasing her tail and then finding and ..

No we didn't get a good head shot but her character is written all over these photos. She is high energy object focused; and she will stop and look at you and oh she tells you all about it!

Mia breaks my heart .. she has always needed company and the one thing she has never had is companionship. She was left on her own for long torturous hours. Her next owners will love her, like her original owner did, but we guarantee they will have time to give her the most precious thing she desires. Then her toys and 'chasing her tail' will become less dominant features.

She is small, very pretty and a very very lovely being.

Mia enjoyed her outing today, although I am now concerned about her fur. It looks like she is losing it around her back legs. I have been scrutinizing the photos to try and see if it has always been like that or if it is something that has crept up and gone unnoticed because it has been gradual. She has also lost it from the end of her tail. That could easily be because she spends so much time chasing it. [cry.gif]

Harry Snr has this too sadly. I asked my tutor to have a look at him as I was worried about his fur loss and she replied that it is due to being in kennels on the concrete that they lose their fur. Also on the top of his hock is slightly bare. Another reason why they need their homes to come up sooner rather than later and be out of kennels.

Thanks, Dee. Yes, her hocks are another area. I don't suppose there is anything we can do about it - well, apart from finding a home [cry.gif]
