Billy is doing really well. You wouldn't even think he's had an operation on his spine , he's walking as he did before love4.gif He's still nervous of lots of lots of things and will often take himself upstairs or hide in the bathroom if he's unsure of something , today it was thunder.
Even though he's still nervous of things he's also more confident in lots of ways and he's like a puppy when we come home and he'll play on the floor now nibbling your clothes .
I'll try and update some pictures of him xx

It's wonderful to hear that Billy's all better, this great news has made my day thumbs.gif
Bobby's had a difficult few months; minuscule on the scale that Billy had but I kept thinking how tough it must've been for you all. So, so pleased that he's all better.

xxxxxxxxxx for Billy

I think the hardest thing with Billy once he'd had the operation was keeping him quiet and rested . I think how lucky we were really that they could get him back to himself, I have read about many that take a long long time to get back to their pre op condition. He is such a gentle soul and I'm so happy we have him as is Trixie.
It's so worrying when they're not themselves , I hope Bobby is okay , does he have to rest ?
Big hugs for Bobby xx

Bobby was on rest for many weeks. He just went lame one day, no prior warning of any issues. He's a high energy dog and the huge change to his life made him very morose. I agree with you, it's so worrying. To cheer him up, we cruised to a doggy beach on a river and I took him paddling/swimming each day. What we thought was a pronounced ligament on his leg, the vet said is a long scar possibly from an old injury so he could have a weakness. She proscribed meds to delay the anaesthetic for X-ray.
Then a few days ago, he walked with his Bobby swagger. The relief! Just need to build up his fitness now.
It must've been so hard for Billy as he's a sensitive soul. It must be lovely for him having Trixie as a bud.
Bobby says thanks for the hugs, he can never have enough!
