HomedHoming Requirements: Zena needs a family to appreciate her for the very good Staffie she is! She would prefer to be an only pet and not to have visiting pets in her home but delighted to meet outside. She could live with respectful children. Zena would enjoy a garden and daily walks.

Video: Zena beautiful Zena

Her Story: Zena was found stray and unclaimed. Zena is now spayed, chipped and fully vax'd. was fostered in Tunbridge Wells.

Advert: Zena is the sweetest thing! She has a serenity which is beautiful to behold. Zena spent a long time in kennels but since Christmas has been in foster and has mixed with other dogs once a trust bond was established. Zena is in good health, affectionate but her energy has a fun fizz about it, whilst on the whole being calm in repose. Zena understands sit and paw. She has been well cared for in her past we are sure.

Zena is a small Staffie with a lovely pale lemon beige brindle soft coat with pretty markings. She has an infectious smile and an excitement on commencing her walks. She needs soft furnishings and aromas wafting through from her kitchen. She needs bees buzzing around her garden to entertain her and a window to watch. Zena is a princess.

Watch Zena's thread below: See her progress through our RescueReferral Details: ZENA Brindle staffy bitch around 6 years Very friendly, calm and gentle girl. Didnt seem bothered by other dogs. Poor little girl sounds like she has a touch of kennel cough and should be in front of a warm fire.

Zena in the pound...

I know .. but Zena got to me.. she has kennel cough and being a staffie her chances are already slim.

Safe and now in our tender loving care.

Zena pictures here loving looking up to her friend Nikki who travelled over 300 miles today to meet me at Toddington to ensure she is safe.

A really lovely girl who is mature and in her own skin; not overtly licky; but will snuggle up if invited and encouraged.
Zena knows how to free herself from a lead by chewing through it so be warned!

walked Zena today. she was so easy that we both fell over her lead...twice... as its was soo slack...found out that she doesn't like the stream, had a real panic when I invited her into the water, she also didn't like crossing the bridge but apart from that she is a dream. I took my friend Angela who is taking a photography course and she has taken some fab photos. will up date later...

Zena had a lovely walk with KC the King Charles spaniel and his family today. She then went off for the day. She met dogs really well outside and was good with the children. She was too excited around KC however in the house else she may have been able to have stayed longer, but her 'gusto' frightened KC . She is now in Farnham kenns, as Gatwick S is on overload currently. Colleen will share her impressions of 'our lady' These are the pictures just received from Colleen :P

I walked the lovely Zena today and new walker Ken walked Mags.

Zena and Mags were both no trouble on the walk. They both had their own business to attend to and hardley even looked at each other whilst trotting along happily next to each other.

Zena does sometimes try to chew the lead but she gives it up easily when you take it back off her. Other than that she was great. Doesn't seem too bothered about other dogs and is an all around lovely girl. She is easy to walk and doesn't pull. I also love her colouration, she's a lovely looking girl.

Wow, Zena is soo adorable!! She was barking at us through the kennel but what a little sweetie once you're near her! I had heard about Zena's enjoyment in chewing the lead so I put a metal lead on her harness. She did try to chew it but she is very good at obeying instructions and it's so easy to stop her. We stopped and had loads of cuddles on the walk and she seemed to love this.

I enjoyed meeting Zena so much today, I cannot believe how many great dogs we have without homes, Zena would be a really loving companion.

We took Zena out today for the first time and she is adorable! She trots along with her pretty little feet generally enjoying the world around her :)

We took her out with the equally lovely Mag's and they bimbled along nicely together sniffing all the sniffs.

Zena wasn't bothered by the bikes, other people or other dogs - she really is delightful to be around.

She doesn't pull and most unusually for one of the Farnham dogs she is happy to sit and pose for pictures

Zena is such a beautiful girl, I never seem to be able to catch her amazing colouring though!

I went to the kennels to walk Milly with Fin today but Zena had got herself in a little bit of a state bless her, when she was shut in for the kennels to be cleaned she chewed her kennel door and cut her nose and lip, not too bad but I really felt for her. So we went for a walk.

The best thing about Zena is how quickly she bonds with you, it was the second time I'd met her and she was soo cuddly, when I tried putting her in her kennels she just flopped on the floor for a bellyrub. Zena does like to have a good chew on the lead as you're going out but she is so easy to control and as soon as you start moving she will stop.

After the walk we spent about 15minutes in her kennel and she got some belly rubs and I got some lovely cuddles! I wanted so much to put Zena in my car and give her all the belly rubs she wants, she would be forever grateful, and offers? :)

I met Zena for the first time yesterday and she's such a sweetie. New walker Pauline took her out and although she did chew her lead a few times on the way out, she stopped as soon as we set off into the woods.
It was so sweet when she nuzzled Mags almost straightaway as if they were old friends - it was almost like a little kiss Mags didn't take any notice at all though Zena's loves attention and is desperate for human contact - the kennel staff say that she hates being put to bed and doesn't want them to leave. She's a lovely older girl who really deserves a home of her own soon.

Zena had me in stitches on the group walk yesterday She was ambling along enjoying herself and spotted 'something' in the undergrowth and boy can she accelerate when she has a mind to It was just so unexpected!
Zena's such an easy girl in so many ways - it's difficult to understand why she hasn't been snapped up already.
