Cece's Story: Cece was owned by an older couple who couldn't walk her or offer her the occupation she needed as a young dog. Cece has grown up with 5 cats. Rescue Remedies offered a Rescue place saving her life. Cece is now neutered, chipped, and fully vaccinated. Cece is in boarding kennels near Gatwick whilst awaiting her new family.
If you are interested in rehoming one of our dogs, please complete our ONLINE HOMING QUESTIONNAIRE. It is always the first step in our rehoming process. Upon application, you must be ready to take in your new dog within seven days. For more detailed information, please see our Homing Process.
Please support our work and help our long stay dogs: Our minimum adoption donation is £175. This supports our continuing rescue work and is non-refundable. We exist solely due to the goodwill and donations of our supporters and volunteers. Our dogs need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes. Our Rescue offers all our dogs back-up for life.
Please note: Dog laws have changed, with zero public tolerance and prejudice against bull breeds and terriers. Our Rescue asks new owners to keep their dog on a lead in public spaces and manage and support its encounters with new dogs and people, so as not to place the dog's life at risk. Destruction and Control Orders are commonplace nowadays.
Cece's progress through our Rescue is below.
We work with our dogs, who often reveal a different picture and positive skills as they build trust.

Sweet Cece has come home for some rest and relaxation and lots of cuddles after she had her spay today - bless her she’s quite subdued, and I think a bit sore but still exceptionally loving

I met Cece during the week before she went for her spay. She clearly loves the company of people and loves going out on adventures. She is a young, lively girl but very connected and responsive and she has a lovely friendly, happy nature. She is smart, beautiful and fun.

Cece spent some time with me in the garden - amused herself whilst I had to do some emergency drainpipe repairs !!!
And then happy to do some snoozing on the sofa - thankfully we’d just come inside when the heavens opened and it poured down !!!
And now snoozing on the floor cushion xxx

I don’t how she could have been photographed sleeping in so many different places and beds in such a short space of time - oh yes she’s a staff!! So so beautiful. She looks quite a big sturdy girl, what a lovely pet she is gonna make xx
