Sunray's Story: Sunray was found stray/abandoned and unclaimed within a Welsh council pound. Rescue Remedies offered a Rescue place saving his life. Sunray is neutered, chipped, and vaccinations are in progress. Sunray was in boarding kennels near Guildford whilst awaiting his new family.

If you are interested in rehoming one of our dogs, please complete our ONLINE HOMING QUESTIONNAIRE. It is always the first step in our rehoming process. Upon application, you must be ready to take in your new dog within seven days. For more detailed information, please see our Homing Process.

Please support our work and help our long stay dogs: Our minimum adoption donation is £175. This supports our continuing rescue work and is non-refundable. We exist solely due to the goodwill and donations of our supporters and volunteers. Our dogs need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes. Our Rescue offers all our dogs back-up for life.

Please note: Dog laws have changed, with zero public tolerance and prejudice against bull breeds and terriers. Our Rescue asks new owners to keep their dog on a lead in public spaces and manage and support its encounters with new dogs and people, so as not to place the dog's life at risk. Destruction and Control Orders are commonplace nowadays.

well if this guy hasnt got a bit of yorkie in him ile eat my secret supply of yorkie bars in one go - anyway he is indeed well named such a happy chappie jumping up and down like crazy before you go in amd so excited to be going out but once out one of the calmest most placid dogs you could meet he seemed to enjoy having vinny along for the walk and both settled into a relaxed chilled walk once they were walking near each other both enjoyed lots of sniffing and treats taking them v nicely - ty sunray for a v pleasent walk xxx

Sunray is GORGEOUS - so endearing and cheerful. He is a stunning looking little dog with his multi-coloured soft coat and he is an easy dog to walk. He loves being outside, sniffing and walking at a reasonable pace. We did see a cyclist at one point and he did get a bit overexcited but, other than that, his manners were impeccable. Lovely boy. angel13.gif]

Not much sun today, but it didn't matter. Sunray provides enough sunshine for your every day. What a scrummy boy. Had a lovely walk then some playtime. It's a struggle to put his harness on as he's so pleased to see you and you are desperately trying not to laugh at the teeny tiny Julius harness, which I always associate with big dogs. 0002.gif]

He is such a perky little chap! Love him!

Sunray really is a little bundle of loveliness, he bounces for joy in his kennel and gives you some super cuddles.
We enjoyed some time exploring in the woods and he was a dream to walk, he particularly seemed to like investigating all the different scents along the way.
We passed a few people on the way back which he wasn't so keen about today and we had a bit of barking but he was easily managed on the lead and happy enough to be distracted with some tasty treats. thumbs.gif
