A certain someone has a new preferred spot on the sofa in the evening and has even started "demanding" a pillow!

Think he’d probably appreciate a blanket over him as well!

And a bed-time story perhaps? 😆

He'll get tucked in when he goes up to bed proper, don't worry.

This is the result of of eating too enthusiastically and drinking too much water yesterday evening!

Don't worry, he doesn't do it very often and he soon deflates.

It's actually quite handy to have the cat flap as a gauge of his size/weight!

I took Blacka for a walk around Tilgate Forest with his mate Blue for a couple of hours on Friday. He is one of only two dogs we know (both Staffies) with whom Blacka has absolutely no issues, which is truly lovely to see. I think the key is that Blue doesn't show Blacka any interest and is perfectly happy having him as a shadow. He even puts up with Blacka occasionally sticking his head where you wouldn't expect it to be welcome!

Here's a short clip of them both in a wide, open space where I was happy it was perfectly safe to let him off his lead. He never goes far (he's stays within about 10 metres of me) and never runs off - a fast walk is the most he'll summons the energy for.

Blacka didn't perpertually follow Blue around, although he does in this clip!

Blacka popped round to see his other Staffie friend, Travis (whose health is unfortunately deteriorating) this morning.

Here he is, patiently waiting for Travis to come out to play:
