Some more of yesterdays funnnnnn
Haring around having a ball !!! More of the selfie fun Nell has had a lovely walk this morning with me, over the local playing fields watching the kids practice their rugby, saw other dogs but non-plussed with them, paying them no attention, preferring to sniff and get to know the neighborhood
Got home and I thought she might be a bit tired but no, she wanted to play ball in the garden !!!

Sweet Nell travelled so well with me on Sunday late afternoon back to mine, we stopped off at broxbourne to pick up Buster to take him down to Gatwick and both dogs were so good, not a peep from either, Buster in my large crate in the boot and Nell beside me (for strokes and fuss !).
Back home it was zoomies in the garden (will post video once uploaded) and then time for me to water my plants, little did I know that Nell would want to help herself to the water before it hit the watering can !
Inside and my wood and tiled floors with some internal steps between levels on my ground floor really unnerved poor Nell, I think she felt unsafe and concerned at hurting herself given her 3 limbs instead of 4. Everywhere she turned there were more slippy surfaces and she didn’t settle like she had at mum and dads with carpet on the floor.
Bless her, at night time the wooden stairs were a no no and she wasn’t keen on being upstairs in the knowledge that they were there so we both slept in the lounge, we both slept well and I had the usual soppy cuddles in the morning lying on the sofa !
On Monday morning the window cleaner came, he loves dogs and loved Nell, she presented herself for full on cuddles and gave him her stamp of approval !
Walkies, a sleep and then sadly time to go back to kennels - Nell put a brave face on it which made me feel better plus she really does seem to love going out in the car
We did squeeze in some garden time before heading off ... Lovely weekend and I’d have loved to see if she could have settled better at mine with a few more days but work and other commitments meant I couldn’t try this time.
What I would say if that a fully carpeted home would make Nell very happy, she’s not for all this modern wooden floor lark !
And who can blame her, she does so well you often forget she only has 3 legs and it must be very unnerving when your single front leg doesn’t have a great grip on a smooth surface, sometimes she would walk backwards as it must have felt more secure.
So Nell is now back at gatwick waiting to give cuddles to all who visit her !

Re: Nell Tripawd Staffie x DofB 18.09.16 Gatwick Kenns
I had a lovely walk with Nell this morning. We then went to the Poet's hut and Nell was quick to join me on the sofa for cuddles and treats. Such a sweet, affectionate girl who copes brilliantly on her 3 legs.
