What a treat to walk Bert yesterday. He really is such an amazing terrier boy. A lovely friendly boy who is very sweet. It was so hot yesterday bless him and Bert was really feeling the heat with his thick coat. We kept to the shade of the woods where Bert seemed to be quite happy. He laid down for a while just happy to play with his tennis ball. Such a well behaved boy and a pleasure to walk. xx

I am getting really fond of Bert - he is adorable with his soft fur and lovely nature. He is just so friendly and such an easy little dog to walk. He kept up quite a fast pace and was always on the look out for tennis balls. At the end of our walk we found one and Bert really enjoyed playing with it. He is totally lovely and will make someone an ideal little companion.

I so agree with Helen, Bert is such a lovely little terrier, he walked really well out of the kennels, and through the woods for a short walk, due to the heat. Bert found a tennis ball on the way back to the kennels, he was happy laying in the cool grass playing with his ball. He does love a good neck sratch, he has the most amazing soft fur. Bert would be so content in a home where he can have a walk, and play with tennis ball. Please consider Bert for his forever home, you would not be disappointed

Bert is adorable - no other word for him really. He was not too bothered about having a walk yesterday - it was very hot - and so we both left the woodlands and went to the paddock where he had a play with the tennis balls, a sit on my lap, and generally speaking a relaxing time. I find him endearing and good company - a brilliant little terrier who would enrich your life with his winning, undemanding ways.

Bert was happy to sit under the tree with his tennis ball. Helen was sitting on the bench so we joined her. Bert came up for a quick cuddle then back down to play with his favourite toy. He is such a sweet dog, I love spending time with Bert. Please make room on your sofa for this dear little lad.

Bert was my first walk on a rainy Sunday and, truth to say, he wasn't too keen so we spent the time chewing balls in the hut and generally speaking relaxing and enjoying treats. Great little terrier - I feel sure his forever home is on its way.

What a chilled out boy is Bert! It was a close choice yesterday when he and Winston met Mandy and her niece who were looking for a new canine companion, on this occasion Winston won the day but Bert assisted in every way possible. He was calm in the face of Winston giving him a bit of a talking to, he wandered along quite happily for a short while, showed his love for tennis balls and enjoyed being carried by both me and Mandy when it all proved a bit too hot for this fluffy lad. It wasn't to be this time Bert but I can't believe that it will be long before someone falls for this fabulous little dog.

I had the pleasure of meeting Bert on Saturday. He was pleased to see me and seemed keen to walk but once we had turned onto the kennels drive he decided to lay down. I sat with him for a while, he then decided that a walk would be a good idea and we were off. He enjoyed a good sniff in the hedgerows and a short walk through the woods and back along the towpath. He was very interested in the canal - I kept him on a short lead in case he fancied a swim!! We then sat for a while in the shade under a tree in the park – Bert loves a cuddle. He really deserves a loving home – hopefully he won’t have to wait long.
