The lovely Jack Patt was happy to check out all of the garden today as it was not raining and spent a lot of time outside with Ray. He also had 3 walks and actually gets really eager to go on them. He is a pleasure to have around and has a lovely temperament. We need to help him overcome his need to bark at some dogs (not all). He is eating well and looking good. We love him. He does really thrive in a home environment.

The adorable Jack was flat out yesterday evening! He had extra long walk down the lane, along the road by the railway line and then back up via the very busy Crowborough Hill - what a star - noises and traffic did not phase him at all. Today he has an outing to Guildford so we can see how he is on the car journey. Then a lovely walk(s) on the Merrow downs. The family are away this week so it is just us three to enjoy a change of scenery.

What a difference a day makes. Photos of Jack enjoying the warm sunshine in the garden. He had a lovely day and nice walks too. He still has a problem with some dogs if they are near him otherwise he walks very well sniffling and snuffling and generally enjoying being out.
He travels well in the car on the back seat with me - a bit excited for a few minutes then settles down. He is very good in the house an a few days ago we left him in the house alone and 15 minutes later he was fine no problems at all. He has no issues around food and eats his nicely.
What more can we say about Jack except that he loves being in a home and loves his people.

Jack has been delightfully playing with his squeaky toy in his kennel. I hear him of an evening when Im around the kennels and heard him yesterday when I went towards his kennel to get him out for his walk. He greeted me at the kennel door and we were soon outside and being lifted into the dog mobile. I have had the idea many times recently to take Jack to the park and as I was homing Buster I would be going to the park Jack was our agreed chosen companion.

Once Buster had done the round of the lake so Gary could observe management of Buster in the commotion of the busy park I got Jack out, Not a bark from Jack but a few from Buster; within 3 minutes he was walking alongside Buster feeling very much at ease and enjoying the sunshine

I got a quick cuddle with Jack before he headed out for a few hours away from kennels with his friend Elaine. I always think he is younger than he is! Such a friendly and affectionate pattie, and such a handsome little dude! love4.gif

I had a wonderful walk with Jack on Saturday afternoon, we went to Redhill Common. He is a delight to walk and interested in his surroundings. We stopped to have a cuddle, and he is affectionate and full of kisses. He will make a fantastic companion for a family. Cannot wait to see him next week, for another adventure. He is such a handsome boy. blob6.gif]
