What a fantastic day Charlie and I have had! Up early and to Victoria Park. Charlie met his new friend Parker- a Beddlington Terrier puppy and they remembered each other from yesterday and had a bounce around together. Then off to sniff the trees and and watch the ducks.

He came to a work meeting in the local dog - friendly coffee shop and everyone there made a huge fuss about him. A little Jack Russell came up and barked straight in Charlie's face and Charlie just backed away and showed no sign of aggression! thumbs.gif

Frozen kong to occupy his mind while I went to rig a gig and came home to a happy and relaxed Charlie.

My neighbours think he is adorable and even though he barked when they knocked the door with a package, he was soon chilled out again when they left.

I am so pleased he is beginning to know he is loved and safe- he seems to have been far more settled today!

Will get a few photos! love4.gif

:D

I am having such a fun time with Charlie!

Chilling out on the bed with his one of his favourite squeaky toys! He loves this one and it has not been destroyed in 2 hours!

Anyone else find photographing black dogs tricky?

Charlie is doing really well and has settled in and both Charlie and I are very happy!

He loves his games and his walks in the park. We walked along the towpath to Hackney Wick today, and took the train back. He handled it all in his cheerful stride! He is meeting other dogs and people nicely as well as having a good sniff about and a bit of a terrier dig today-

Don't dig too deep Charlie!
