Going back to the point that people bring dogs back after only a week, if Dylan has been causing trouble such as doing big zoomies around the house - knocking everything about and the rug us up the wall....we often say:

"He will have to go back to Gatwick" 0002.gif]

Once we said we were going to put him on a train with a note for Lynne! Here is a good example...…... 0002.gif] 0002.gif]
(Think you may have already seen this but it still makes me laugh!)

So it seems to be the case that every time we leave the house to go to work in the morning, a certain someone waits until we’ve gone and then thunders around giving it big zoomies. When we come back at lunchtime it’s chaos! Sofa cushions everywhere, the rug is up the wall. And Mr Innocent is sitting there as if he was fast asleep when it happened.

I’ve got a wildlife camera that’s motion sensored. It records as soon as there’s movement. I’ve brought it into the house and I’m going to put it in the little room (his favourite room) by the TV. Let’s see exactly what goes on when he’s on his own!

I want to catch the cheeky monkey on camera 0002.gif]

Will let you know how we get on....

Dylany Boy started his `vet training` today. It was just a meet and greet with the head nurse who is going to help with his training to get him used to being examined etc in the future.
He was absolutely brilliant. He sat nicely for her and she gave him some treats. Then he gave her some big staffy kisses !
She thinks his body language is really good.
She has no doubts that she will get him to the point in the near future where she can examine him.
Said he was a lovely boy.
I was incredibly proud of him, he has come so far in 6 months.

Well you were absolutely right. When the camera was on him he didn't do anything. When it was off he caused chaos! Here's some very boring footage of Dylan waking up and yawning while he was on his own! 0002.gif]

As Giles said earlier, he has done so well this week. He has started his vet training, which is him just visiting the surgery once a week and the vet, who specialises in nervous dogs, observes his body language and gets to know him. She watches how interacts with us. Giles was so proud of him - he was brilliant. The vet knows his story and knows how he was when he first arrived (when we couldn't touch him). She said he's done incredibly well in only 6 months and his body language says he is a content dog love4.gif

And boy, does he love his comfort. I don't think he could have been any more comfier than he is in these photos! He loves a good sofa and a couple of cushions....
