Homing Requirements: Laylah is good with children and all people including strangers. Laylah needs to a family committed to her dog socialisation. If challenged Laylah has gone back e.g. precious chew or growl: For this reason muzzled outside and achieves full independence off lead and mixes well. Laylah would relax as only pet but needs a companion home i.e. not left long hours.

Her Story: Laylah and her sister were rescued as neglected 4 old month pups - bored, left alone for long periods and had squabbles. They were separated from their mum in the flat and never been passed the front door and not vaccinated. Laylah is now a treasured dog, living with 3 other bitches near Brighton. She would now be best as an only dog. She is a wonderful pet. Spayed, fully vax'd and chipped.

Advert: Laylah has the gentlest temperament, is proven with children and enjoys meeting people though can be shy initially. She enjoys her walks and is fun. Laylah is housetrained and compliant with house rules. She mixes well outside on her walks 'on a muzzle; off lead', as she did get caught up in the heat of the moment, so now all can relax. Laylah is a highly social dog and would love to continue to mix and enjoy doggie company in this way. Laylah travels well and is easily managed on a lead.

Laylah is a small Staffie with a gentle endearing nature. Just a one year old and yet very settled in her energy and affable. She loves any training input and she also loves to lounge! Because she has always lived with dog and will be homed as an only dog, we are looking for a companion home for her i.e. not left for working hours.

See Laylah's thread below: Watch her progress through our Rescue.Laylah has waited for 3 weeks for us to take her in. Well today we did thanks to John and his children and especially Tia offering a week's fostering to let us get going and bring them into safety. She has lived with her mother Missie a brindle Staffie and her sister in a flat in London. They have had no access to a garden and in fact had never been out of the flat since birth. She hadn't been wormed or vax'd.

Today after arriving at John's with his children Luke and Chelsea we carried the petrified pair into the house. They lapped up strokes and they were named. Luke chose Laylah's name. We then put a pretty mauve collar on her chosen by Luke and our disc. Layla is a pretty black pup who may become black brindle as she grows. She met Tia, John's Staffie really well and saw the 3 cats. Time to go!! so we placed them back in the car just 20 mins after arrival and headed for the local vets. She was checked over, vax'd and chipped. We came away with Advocate treatment for her to treat her for worms, lungworm, mange and fleas which will be applied tomorrow evening so not too close to her vax.

We were soon back home and time to settle to play and then to be introduced to 'grass'. There was a story in my childhood called chickee lickee who thought the sky had fallen on his head..this is just how our pups were behaving today. Tomorrow will be another day. Will post pictures and a video in the next hour. So pleased they are beginning to see life, build much needed skills and they are just loving children. They love Tia's cats!
