Basil Patterdale DOB 01.2009 - 16th August 23
Re: Basil Patterdale DOB 01.2009 Gatwick
Basil and I had another great walk today - this time with Tricia and Trevor - two little black patties trotting along - just made you very proud! He loves a sniff and so of course that is what he did for the first few minutes of the walk but after that he trotted along behind Trevor, keeping up with him and seemed very happy and comfortable. Great little chap!

Lovely waddle along with Basil today
Basil chose where we went and we wandered up the lane and then around the grounds, Basil chose his path carefully as in places the mud was deeper than his little legs
We fitted in stops for back scratches too xxx
Sweetie pie

Stopped to sit on the log and little Baz jumped on up, 2 back legs planted on my thigh and front 2 on the log, a great vantage point to take in the view ! And enjoy that back scratch !!!
Do love this little man xxx

Lovely photos of Basil, he is such dear little lad, we had a wonder down the lane where Basil had a good sniff in the undergrowth, we then had a walk around the woods, Basil enjoyed lots of treats back in his kennel

Basil so loves his treats and his meandering walks with sniffs. We had a nice walk today in spite of the awful weather. Such a great dog - so patient, so makes the best of things - love him!

I met Basil last week for the first time and again this week, what a charming little fellow he is. He looked at me with a quizzical stare, probably wondering who I was but a couple of treats later he seemed to accept me and off we went for a lovely walk. Looking forward to the next walk and spending time with him.

I walked Basil for the first time yesterday. He won’t walk too far, the girls said! Well I don’t know if it was the snow, but this lovely old boy, and he is a lovely old boy, had me circling through the woods for nearly an hour! He was a doddle to walk, and I am looking forward to taking him out again, total poppet
Re: Basil Patterdale DOB 01.2009 Gatwick
Basil took me for a walk on Friday he definitely knew the route he wanted to go. So we headed off across the common despite the mud and snow. I think his getting used to me now as I did not get the who are you looks so much, just a waggy tail. Looking forward to getting to know this little lad a bit more on our next walk.
Re: Basil Patterdale DOB 01.2009 Gatwick
I think Basil is beginning to know me now getting a lot more waggy tail which is great to see. He decided the woods needed a bit of tidying up and spent some time digging in the undergrowth under fallen trees, once he was satisfied with his work we carried on with the walk. He really is a charmer and a delight to accompany on a walk.

Dear little Basil was happy to have a wander in the woods, then he had a good sniff near the paddock, and a trek through the mud!. Basil had a spring in his step today, I do hope that Basil can find his forever home soon
