Took the little bundle of energy out today. Poor girl walks with such energy and enthusiasm she quickly overheats in this weather and needs plenty of water stops. Did not take much to persuade her to have a paddle in the stream though. She seems to get along with all the dogs, she is so happy and sweet natured, she just wants to chat, sniff and play. Very affectionate and cuddly as always.

I got to take out Trixie again today and I love her energy and joy. She really lives life to the full and when we stopped for water she was keen to share cuddles as well. In fact we had lots of lovely cuddles as we waited for Margaret and the ever dancing Rickie to catch up. She loves to paddle and is not adverse to a bit of mud wallowing with the boys.

Well,I chose Trixie as my last walk today as I love her energy and joy and especially her affectionate nature and cuddles. She is such a joy to take out, Waits patiently at the stiles and before crossing the road and is a happy companion with other dogs around. She is just a gorgeous little lady!

Izzie: Last weekend we decided to give Trixie a little break from the kennel so she went home with us  .At first she was very exited running around the house and getting to know it..after some time we decided to give her a bath and she took it very calmly then we went for a long walk in the woods and we descovered that she loves water..without hesitation she wanted to get into any lake and stream we passed by.Also she meets other dogs very well and is so friendly and full of love to everyone. Her favourite thing is cuddles...all the time with everybody non stop...cuddles..she just wants to be loved and we were amaized at what an easy dog she is!She sits and gives paw..she goes to her bed when told and she waits nicely..she is very shy and quiet dog but when out and about really enjoys her walkies. We took her out in Brighton one day and she didn't have any problems with crowded streets and passing by dogs..loved the sea and chasing after birds. she is great off lead and always stays close. We fell in love with her instantly and we hope that forever home will come soon for trixie. x

Trixie met Bentley ( a lovely Black and White 9 year old Staffie) and his family today for a lovely walk. They have decided to take her home for a weekend next week, to see how Bentley accepts another dog in his life. He has lost his Staffie partner recently sadly.

Well little Trixie travelled well to Southampton. :D She had a good sniff and run in the garden when she came home, and Bentley has behaved beautifully. So far so good.
We all love her already, hoping the night goes as well.

We'll post some pics tomorrow.

Delighted to say that Izzy and Claire witnessed Trixie in her second meeting with Bentley and waved them goodbye off on their trial adoption. News tonight, slowly but surely, Trixie is settling and Bentley seems approving
