Dear little Rolo, he’s such lovable little pickle. I’m so glad he’s off to pastures new but I’ll miss him. We have become good friends during his stay at kennels - he brightens my day with his bossy little ways and his peaceful protests. We went through all the long grass today - Rolos choice. He looked like a little bunny hopping through it all. Then down the lane - a small protest here as Rolo wanted to go on a different route but as I’ve said before, all of Rolos chosen routes head back to the paddock!!!There’s something very endearing about Rolo - his new family are very lucky to have him. Xx

Love this little dog - ever since he decided I could be part of his friendship circle we have had a special bond. He is an amazing little chap, so full of enthusiasm for life, so determined to get his own way if he can but so willing to let you choose in the end. He made me smile every time I walked him and took him in the paddock - the sight of that little round, curly shape bounding about, usually with his special toy in his mouth, always made me chuckle. I often saved his walk til the end of my long day's walking so I could leave the kennels on a positive high. Be good little Rolo, show everyone what a great little dog you are (I suspect they know that already if they have decided to spend their life with you). Above all, be very, very happy. I would love to come to say goodbye to you and so if someone could let me know when you are leaving I shall definitely try to do that. Kiss of love.gif bighug.gif k2727.gif

I’m really going to miss my Sunday walks with Rolo - I’ve grown very fond of the perfect pickle. For some reason today he spent a lot of time on top of the bench and sitting next to my legs on the swing chair. I tell him I’m going to miss him - maybe that’s why he chose to come and sit with me for a bit today......that’s what I’m telling myself anyway wink.gif wink.gif

I just couldn't resist taking Rolo out this afternoon, he saw me walking by a couple of times and made it known that he really would like to be out and about as well. As it was at the end of my walks and wasn't intending on walking any other dogs I took him to the paddock for his much loved ball games. I am glad I did as he really does have a way of lifting your spirits. I am so pleased this little fella will be off to his forever home very soon. :havefun.gif:

Rolo made me laugh this afternoon, as always he really wanted to play ball in the paddock but unfortunately it was in use so I tried to encourage Rolo to have a walk around the woods but he was sure that wasn't what he wanted to do. Luckily the paddock did come available much to Rolo's delight and so that is where we headed. This boy has such character. Heart fill with love.gif]

A last walk with dear Rolo yesterday so I let him do what ever he wanted.....same as usual really wink.gif. He’s been a great Sunday walking companion, I’ve loved his quirky little ways, his peaceful protests, his stubbornness. I’ve been very, very lucky to have been accepted as one of Rolos friends and for him to trust me. I’ll miss him terribly but couldn’t be happier for him. Love you Rolo, be happy little man. Xx

I spent some time with Rolo this afternoon, it has been a great pleasure to have been part of his 'inner circle'. I am just so happy that he will soon be settled into his very own forever home where I know he will be well loved and cared for, he has waited for this time to come for so long. wheyhey.gif
