Reny's Story: Reny was handed over to a vets having been mauled by a large dog. The owner could not afford the vet treatment. Reny had been bought for £250 a few months earlier car window "give the cash/ check the cash / here is the puppy' . Rescue Remedies offered a Rescue place saving her life. Reny has had her lacerations stitched and she is now in foster. Reny will be neutered by her new family which is a strict condition of homing. Reny is chipped, and vaccinations are in progress. Reny was in boarding kennels near Gatwick but then in foster with 2 other dogs whilst awaiting her new family.
If you are interested in rehoming one of our dogs, please complete our ONLINE HOMING QUESTIONNAIRE. It is always the first step in our rehoming process. Upon application, you must be ready to take in your new dog within seven days. For more detailed information, please see our Homing Process.
Please support our work and help our long stay dogs: Our minimum adoption donation is £175. This supports our continuing rescue work and is non-refundable. We exist solely due to the goodwill and donations of our supporters and volunteers. Our dogs need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes. Our Rescue offers all our dogs back-up for life.
Please note: Dog laws have changed, with zero public tolerance and prejudice against bull breeds and terriers. Our Rescue asks new owners to keep their dog on a lead in public spaces and manage and support its encounters with new dogs and people, so as not to place the dog's life at risk. Destruction and Control Orders are commonplace nowadays.
Reny's progress through our Rescue is below.
We work with our dogs, who often reveal a different picture and positive skills as they build trust.

Thanks Sarah
So I know its an urgent case when Lynne texts me, so how could we say no.. I drove over to the kennels on Saturday morning to collect this Gorgeous little button. I felt bad as I knew I had a really busy Saturday including two kids parties and I was doing other peoples horses that evening too.. However She has fitted in perfectly Considering her ordeal she as been perfect with Arnold and Hester... Eaten well, not been too bothered by her wounds, been out to the garden for her toilets. We didn't walk yesterday as it was too hot but I will take her out today. she as been sleeping allot due to her body recovering from its ordeal.

I had the pleasure of meeting Reny today. She surprised me that she is so small. You could not meet a sweeter dog and she is having a wonderful time recovering with Hayley and the gang.

Sometime you have a special dog and Reny is one of those ones that really touch your heart.. But I couldn't have wished for a nicer family for her Remny is going in with Kids who I know will love and cherish her as much as Frank and Lily did.
I think Reny will also give Kenny a new lease of life
