Arthur's Story: We have been asked by a family to help re home Arthur. They have owned him from a puppy and now they have had a child who is now 9 months old he is getting very anxious around her. With a heavy heart they have decided it is best to re home him. Arthur is Jack Russell in instinct and attitude. His intelligence is bright, focused and attuned to what is on offer; food, fun, walks or love! He is a only dog but has stayed a lot with a Jack Russell and a Cavishon with no problems. Not for young children or cats. He is neutered, chipped, and vaccinated.

Arthur coming into our care when kennel space is available, but would home him whilst waiting from his home.

If you are interested in rehoming one of our dogs, please complete our ONLINE HOMING QUESTIONNAIRE. It is always the first step in our rehoming process. Upon application, you must be ready to take in your new dog within seven days. For more detailed information, please see our Homing Process.

Please support our work and help our long stay dogs: Our minimum adoption donation is £175. This supports our continuing rescue work and is non-refundable. We exist solely due to the goodwill and donations of our supporters and volunteers. Our dogs need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes. Our Rescue offers all our dogs back-up for life.

Please note: Dog laws have changed, with zero public tolerance and prejudice against bull breeds and terriers. Our Rescue asks new owners to keep their dog on a lead in public spaces and manage and support its encounters with new dogs and people, so as not to place the dog's life at risk. Destruction and Control Orders are commonplace nowadays.

Arthurs's progress through our Rescue is below.
We work with our dogs, who often reveal a different picture and positive skills as they build trust.
Original Referral information: Can we help Arthur find a home as not coping with living with a baby.

Steve drove up to Berkshire to meet the lovely Arthur and he was not disappointed. He knew straight away that Arthur was going home with him. We went for a lovely long walk and then we packed Arthurs belongs in Steve's car and said goodbye. I have heard from Steve when he got home and he said Arthur had a good look around his house and was happy to meet Steve's mum Doris. I think you are going to have a wonderful life by the seaside with lots of walks coming your way. woo.gif] :havefun.gif:
