Sleeping Jeeves - this is where he never fails to redeem himself from whatever mischief he's been up to earlier in the day angel13.gif]

Jeeves has a characteristic trait of crossing his front paws which is utterly adorable and hilarious at the same time. There's an air of superiority about it which never fails to amuse! A couple of these pictures are from last summer and it's becoming clear he's in dire need of a haircut. However, he doesn't let us anywhere near him with the scissors/clippers!

Nucasol - very much so, yes! Except, unlike the rest of us he's not eager to be groomed...

Jeeves is the very epitome of 'mischievous terrier'! He enjoys taking used tissues out of the bins (the bins with lids!), tearing them apart and leaving the remnants behind. He always looks rather guilty when caught in the act!

It's so important that whoever is lucky enough to adopt darling Jeeves has a full understanding of his more challenging side. He is a wonderful dog who is everything you'd want in a terrier when he feels safe and happy. When he feels scared he can be difficult to manage. He can be unpredictable towards people he doesn't know and sometimes other dogs. We ourselves have never been on the receiving end of this - when he loves and trusts you he is like any other dog without issues! The behaviours he shows towards strangers tend to be barking and lunging, and if you're not prepared for it it can be alarming. We have found since using this bright yellow bandana people are much more inclined to give us space and/or put their own dogs on a lead from further away which is just brilliant. As most dog owners know, fluorescent colours are a universal way of showing the world that your dog might be anxious or could react at a moment's notice. When Jeeves has his space and is kept under his emotional threshold, he is exactly the dog he was born to be! And we need to love him for exactly that reason and protect him from feeling scared.

Brilliant idea, too many people go rushing over without knowing a dog’s back story and behaviours. Jeeves also looks very dapper!

Jeeves had a haircut! I spoke to the groomers in advance to see how they were with anxious dogs but they weren't bothered whatsoever. Jeeves was actually pretty good with them in the end, although that may have been achieved through bribery by chicken! They couldn't do a thorough job of his face unfortunately as he kept turning away, but otherwise I think he's like a brand new puppy! And so SOFT

The groomers adored him and thought he was one of the most handsome terriers they'd ever met :dog-115.gif: Kiss of love.gif

Jeeves has a tendency to adopt old slippers. He's also got a huge love of stealing socks (clean or dirty!), and sometimes other shoes. A menace or an adorable trait....? Well, it often turns into a game either way and he likes to waggle his bum in the air because he wants to be chased!
