Rexx's Story: Rexx was found abandoned and unclaimed within a Leics council pound. Rescue Remedies offered a Rescue place saving his life. Rexx is now neutered, chipped, and vaccinations are in progress. Rexx is in boarding kennels near Gatwick whilst awaiting his new family.

If you are interested in rehoming one of our dogs, please complete our ONLINE HOMING QUESTIONNAIRE. It is always the first step in our rehoming process. Upon application, you must be ready to take in your new dog within seven days. For more detailed information, please see our Homing Process.

Please support our work and help our long stay dogs: Our minimum adoption donation is £175. This supports our continuing rescue work and is non-refundable. We exist solely due to the goodwill and donations of our supporters and volunteers. Our dogs need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes. Our Rescue offers all our dogs back-up for life.

Please note: Dog laws have changed, with zero public tolerance and prejudice against bull breeds and terriers. Our Rescue asks new owners to keep their dog on a lead in public spaces and manage and support its encounters with new dogs and people, so as not to place the dog's life at risk. Destruction and Control Orders are commonplace nowadays.

Rexx came in today and was a little nervy to start with but soon chilled out after a walk and some quiet time sitting in the poets hut.

He didn't mind me picking him up, putting a new collar and harness on and loved some fuss.

The only thing I noticed is that he doesn't like being approached head on.

We had some time in the paddock this evening too. He really enjoys a roll around in the grass.

Busy day for Sylvia and David today, a nose round their beautiful terrier friendly garden for me, a buying spree at Pets at Home for them and then the short drive to the kennels to meet the gorgeous little man that is Rexx. He showed them his nerves to start with then settled into a walk, solo at first, then with Ralph along for company. Some gentle cuddles in the paddock followed and they fell in love. Rexx is going to be spoilt rotten, just as he deserves and spend many happy days with them, splitting his time between Godstone and their caravan on the south coast love4.gif

Spoke to David this morning and he said Rexx is a marvelous little chap.
He was fast asleep upstairs on their bed after having a busy morning helping David in the garden.
No signs of his nerves and said he a right lap dog, as soon as he spots a spare lap he up.
David said thankyou as they can't imaging life without him. June
