Rona & Kitty's Story: Rona & Kitty's owner was made homeless and they had nowhere to go. Rescue Remedies offered a Rescue place saving their life. Rona & Kitty are neutered, chipped, and vaccinations are in progress. Rona & Kitty were in boarding kennels near Gatwick whilst awaiting their new family.

If you are interested in rehoming one of our dogs, please complete our ONLINE HOMING QUESTIONNAIRE. It is always the first step in our rehoming process. Upon application, you must be ready to take in your new dog within seven days. For more detailed information, please see our Homing Process.

Please support our work and help our long stay dogs: Our minimum adoption donation is £175. This supports our continuing rescue work and is non-refundable. We exist solely due to the goodwill and donations of our supporters and volunteers. Our dogs need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes. Our Rescue offers all our dogs back-up for life.

Please note: Dog laws have changed, with zero public tolerance and prejudice against bull breeds and terriers. Our Rescue asks new owners to keep their dog on a lead in public spaces and manage and support its encounters with new dogs and people, so as not to place the dog's life at risk. Destruction and Control Orders are commonplace nowadays.

Rona & Kitty's progress through our Rescue is below.
We work with our dogs, who often reveal a different picture and positive skills as they build trust.
Original Referral information: We were asked to help Rona and her Kitty friend when their owner was given notice to vacate his flat

we had rona and kitty cat as overnite guests on monday - both behaved very well rona loves her humans and even though she had only known us a few hours followed us both everywhere deciding that laying on jans lap was best - in the morning a little walk and several cuddles and ear washes later we were off to the kennels where we took her out for a little walk with zeus

Before the fun day started I took gorgeous rona out for a walk. So many of the dogs would not walk far in the rain well not little rona She loved it. When it stopped raining every puddle had to be rolled in. This little bundle of fluff is totally adorable. Loves her walk comes back for cuddles and knows commands. A beautiful darling little girl totally loved her xxxxx love4.gif love4.gif

Rona is a lovely girl who was out with Ros on a taster walk with a new volunteer. So I thought I'd pop in to see Kitty. Such a friendly cat who loves her strokes!

Rona is an absolute sweeeeeeeety pops ! I visited her today for walkies and she acted like she had known me her whole life, she loved the chicken I had for her and we had a lovely walk through the woods......what a lovely looking girl as well !

Incredibly well behaved I don't think Rona will be with us for long !

I took sweet little Rona for a walk today. She was very keen to get out and get going and have a good old explore. She walked well behind Marge (dog) but I think her favourite bit of the walk was a visit to the stream where she had a little drink and then lay down in the water to cool off.

first dog you see when you get to the kennels is lively rona and she looked like she was raring to get out so we took her out with benny she was very excited to be going out and also very well behaved with no barking at little benny - she does like to walk fast for the first part of her walk but really slowed down towards the end we didnt put her straight back in her kennel instead sat outside to give her some attention cuddles and treats which she loves we are really hoping she is spotted soon as she has a lot of love to give
