Buddie travelled well - little bit of whimpering but soon settled. We are in the same cottage as last time - Buddie was at home as soon as we came through the door. We’ve been to the beach, had a lovely long walk. He’s now sound asleep while his chicken cooks. Love this boy to bits. Xx

Buddie enjoyed the froth from coffee this morning - we sat outside the cafe at the end of the pier. The queue was super long but Buddie waited patiently for his froth. Lots of people said hello to him - which he loves. He laid on my lap, upside down, four legs in the air, letting the sun warm his tummy.Xx.

Buddie is being such a good boy. Walking him is a pleasure. He met lots of dogs this morning - nice friendly hello’s from Buddie. This little man is all about negotiation - and helping him to make the right decisions. He sat on the table on my clothes earlier. If I’d just tried to move him, he wouldn’t have been very happy. The key is to offer him something better - a little bit of cheese done the trick. I’m sitting here now with him on my lap, nudging me with his nose if I stop stroking him. Xx

Buddie playing with his favourite ‘toy’ - a toilet roll!!! Yep, I spent quite some time trying to find him toys without squeakers in (they wind him up), when I should’ve just got him some cardboard tubes.....daft Corrina

Buddie enjoyed his walk along the beach......but he’s still scared of the waves. He’s made quite a few friends, prefers small dogs to big but gives those he’s not keen on a clear signal to go away. No biting, just a grumble. Little dogs are his thing - he played for ages with a dog called basil this morning. He even presented him with a twig, goading him to chase him. Personally, I cannot fault Buddie boy. If you know you’re terriers and their little quirks, he’s the boy for you. Xx

Buddie had a blast on the beach today - he was digging and digging but didn’t find any treasure. He got a little ott with one dog, but took his telling off well and walked off a humbled boy. He does the cutest thing when I have a shower. I always leave the bathroom door open so he knows where I am. He comes in, takes my socks, puts them on the bed and just waits for me to get out of the shower. He doesn’t chew them, just likes them on the bed next to him. Xx

It’s raining here today - Buddie had to be persuaded to go for a walk, bless him. Here he is waiting for his breakfast.....

I can’t believe how quickly our week away has gone - Buddie has been such good company. I think we must have hit doggy rush hour on our walk this morning.......soooo many off lead dogs. He managed remarkably well - but he is a bossy boots with some dogs. He had a mad zoomies on the beach - digging for 2 seconds, running off, digging again. I’ve never had a problem with Buddie on the extender lead. He prefers it and so do I - I don’t have to keep stopping every 10 seconds so Buddie can sniff every little bush we come to. He’s had his breakfast, roast chicken, and is fast asleep next to me. Love this little man. Xx
