Buddie enjoys every second of his walk. The rain, muddy puddles, nothing puts him off. I was soaked through so after a shortish walk, we went and sat in the poets hut. He jumped on my lap, licked all the rain from my face, removed most of my already smudged mascara - thanks Buddie   Just adore this little man. Xx

I adore little buddie. He’s such a lovely, easy boy to walk. Every week he accompanies me on my walks with new walkers and other dogs. He’s such a good boy, never puts a paw wrong. All new walkers are impressed with his indifference to other dogs, he remains calm and steady, helping other dogs to realise they have nothing to worry about. I honestly cannot fault him - look forward to walking him every week. X

Buddie travelled very well for the hour and a half journey here to Walmer. He settled after 10 minutes and either enjoyed the scenery or snoozed. To say he was excited when we got inside our cottage would be an understatement. He spent 10 minutes doing zoomies up and down the stairs. I opened the patio door so he could go to the toilet, daft boy ran in to the closed one!! We had a couple of marking incidents but a quick uh uh and he stopped. We have been to the beach - Buddie was scared of the waves, bless him. He’s sound asleep on the sofa next to me now. Xx
The view from our bedroom - looks out to sea. Buddie is amazed. X

Buddie is being a very good boy. He slept with me last night, not a peep out of him until 8 this morning. We had a lovely walk along the promenade and along the pier this morning. This is a very high dog density walk, many off lead dogs, joggers, cyclist. Buddie takes it all in his stride. He will totally ignore most dogs, others he wants to play with, some he tells to go away. We used the extender lead - no problem at all, Buddie liked the extra freedom. Really cannot fault him, he’s been a little angel. Xx

Buddie is being a little sweetheart. He’s clean indoors - no accidents other than the couple of marking incidents we had yesterday. Totally non destructive - hasn’t touched a thing he shouldn’t have......well other than one of my socks but he dropped that when I said uh uh. We had another lovely walk along the promenade tonight - Buddie looked a bit like an alien with his green safety light attached to his lead. X

Buddie had scrambled egg and sausages for his breakfast - he’s on holiday so I’ll indulge him plus it gives me a good excuse to eat a scruuumy breakfast myself. He did not like a golden retriever invading his personal space this morning (owner had headphones on - oblivious to his dogs behaviour), but he handled it extremely well. A few air snaps, a quick come on Buddie from me, and he moved on, very proud of him. He has snoozed the afternoon away on his dog bed - he was too hot on the sofa next to me. Xx

Buddie saw his own reflection in the garage doors this morning - his head was tilting from side to side, totally bemused, bless him. We have a small courtyard garden, Buddie will do his wee’s in the garden but not his poops - he does those on his walks. He had scrambled egg again for his breakfast......he got quite excited as I was cooking it, sat in the kitchen with his tail wagging. I sprinkled it with a tiny bit of cheese and mixed in a little dog biscuit. Cheeky boy picked out all of the biscuit and dropped it on the floor!

Buddie has mastered sitting and waiting for me to put his lead on. He gets very excited when I get his lead and whimpers - but he waits patiently while I get him ready. When we come back from our walk he has a mad 5 minutes, zooming up and down, throwing his toys in the air. I leave him to it - I think he’s just so happy to be in a nice warm home. Xx
