Roco still needs some reassurance on walks but not so much coming back for cuddles but putting on the four foot lock and needing some words of reassurance. With social distancing it’s very hard to socialise him which is a problem he seems to be afraid of some dogs and growls or barks at them. He needs a lot of supervision and I’m going to work with him now on some obedience in particular ‘heel’, ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘paw’,recall and a new one for him that I’ve made up ‘with me’ to try and help him in stressful situations.

That all sounds brilliant Sue - yes social distancing must be making life that bit harder but he looks so happy with you and he has such a lovely nature that I'm sure it will all work out. Thank you.
I love reading the updates of Roco in foster, he has really flourished in your care Sue, thank you for showing what a wonderful dog he is,he just needs the right home to continue with building his confidence
Roco has found another place to relaxHe had a nice walk with Frodo today and also a separate walk with Dexter for the first time, all good just needed a lot of reassurance. He was not so relaxed with Pluto (a very docile golden retriever) meeting for the first time, but sat happily near him while I chatted to his owner.
Had to take a selfie with Roco in Home Park! I took a similar one with Kipp earlier this year. The trees look a little different. Roco is now exhausted and relaxing (again) on the sofa. Roco has on his bright new harness and collar. It’s a soft mesh harness, the other harness was rubbing his tummy but I’ve just seen he’s a bit sore from this harness too. I’ll have to think again.
