Roco has done his first 4K run. With lots of stops for sniffs and paddle in some streams. He loved it, his tail was up and he looked so happy. He has a happy running style more of a frolic!
Fun to watch. Here we are on a rest stop

Roco having a quick catch up on his sleep with his dismembered monkey toy. We have been trying to work out whether Roco is part Labrador or spaniel or something?? A few people have said Lab and a few said spaniel. Who knows - whatever the mix is it’s worked well he is such a cute dog. He is coping well with our floors. Mainly tiled and wood but he’s moving round very freely almost forgetting that he doesn’t like them. I took him to Pets at Home thinking it would be a treat to choose a toy there while getting some tick treatment. I ended up carrying him in the shop because he was stressed by the floors. But we did get the monkey toy.

Roco went to the Thames this morning for the first time and had a little paddle. So much to explore. Not so keen on the bridge as Kipp. We did the ‘wait and go’ distraction and that helped a lot. Not been able to socialise Roco because of the lockdown. Only met Frodo so far.

Roco enjoying another new toy! Yes I’m spoiling him! But he’s letting me bathe his eyes which is hard for him - he has a bit of conjunctivitis and the vets are only doing emergencies so we are trying just bathing them at the moment. He’s also helping my husband rake the moss out of the lawn! Not!

Roco has had a good long walk today. I thought he was exhausted but he wants to play in the garden! We went to Home Park so Roco could enjoy the view at the Long Water - Hampton Court is almost too small to see. There’s a small slatted part of the tow path opposite John Lewis that Roco refused to walk on. We had to go back and take the less scenic route along the main road. Here’s Roco enjoying the view. Keep missing the full fountain experience. There are 5 jets in total but never manage to be there when they are all on

Roco went to ‘the nice water’ in Bushy Park today. It’s a long walk and he’s exhausted. Here he is enjoying the flowing water
