Freddie's Story: Freddie was handed with his mother in a Welsh council pound. Freddie has lived a very sheltered life living with his mother a Bedlington terrier x Freddie's breed mix is not an easy combination. Mother was homed and now Freddie needs a family who can accept his springer energy and terrier instincts and novice response to the wide world. For this reason not for live in children under 12 and not for regular visiting young children either. Rescue Remedies offered a Rescue place saving his life. Freddie is neutered, chipped, and fully vaccinated. Freddie was in boarding kennels near Gatwick whilst awaiting his new family.

If you are interested in rehoming one of our dogs, please complete our ONLINE HOMING QUESTIONNAIRE. It is always the first step in our rehoming process. Upon application, you must be ready to take in your new dog within seven days. For more detailed information, please see our Homing Process.

Please support our work and help our long stay dogs: Our minimum adoption donation is £175. This supports our continuing rescue work and is non-refundable. We exist solely due to the goodwill and donations of our supporters and volunteers. Our dogs need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes. Our Rescue offers all our dogs back-up for life.

Please note: Dog laws have changed, with zero public tolerance and prejudice against bull breeds and terriers. Our Rescue asks new owners to keep their dog on a lead in public spaces and manage and support its encounters with new dogs and people, so as not to place the dog's life at risk. Destruction and Control Orders are commonplace nowadays.

I had a lovely time with Freddie yesterday in the paddock, and took him for an hour + walk today with his doggo friend Freeway. Both so excited to get out and about. Meeting loads of people and loved playing ball games in the paddock and cuddles with hooman. He is a cute and beautiful Terrier X and will make such a beautiful companion for someone. He has loads of energy and is so eager to play games and chase balls and be someones running pal. he LOVES cuddles. FUN FACT - he can do double paw and can sit and wait patiently. Freddie is a lovely companion to have on a walk, his puppy energy makes walking very fun. :goodjob.gif: Freddie blob6.gif] blob6.gif]

Yesterday I walked Freddie and Freeway joined us. Our walk was full of giggles, Freddie is a lovely lively boy, sniffing his way across the ground for most of our walk. He loves being petted and was leaning against my legs, he always has a big smile on his face. We were both very taken with these lovely boys!

I SO agree with you walked him at Guildford and he was pure delight. Lucky Gatwick walkers have him at the moment. He does look like he smiles. Gorgeous boy xx

Ann walked Freddie this morning, accompanied by Freeway and I. I agree with our lovely Guildford walkers that he is super friendly and a very happy, fun loving boy.

Freddie is a bundle of joy, he was so happy,to be going out, he is very responsive to you, when you give him a command. He was happy to meet other dogs out, no reaction, he just wanted to play. He is a typical terrier x spaniel, nose to the ground then time for treats. Freddie would suit an active family, you would have so much fun with him get those homing forms in soon

I had the pleasure and luck to walk Freddie this afternoon, what a lovely bundle of fun. He was very keen to get out, we went for quite a long walk, he is a quick learner as we negotiated quite a few stiles which Freddie quickly worked out whether he should go over or under. We saw a few dogs whilst out, Freddie simply would like to play and can be quite puppyish at times like this. He would really benefit from being away from the kennel environment having regular walks everyday and socialising with other dogs. He is a fabulous boy. Heart fill with love.gif]

I had a lovely welcome from Freddie this afternoon, he was very excited to be going out which made it a little tricky to get his harness on but once done with leads attached we were off. Freddie is very alert to anything moving and would dearly love to chase but despite this he is very easy to manage and soon carries on his way. At one point suddenly a large black dog came running up behind us with no owner in view, luckily the dog wasn't threatening just big and thankfully as Freddie has such a friendly nature all he wanted to do was play. He really is such a fun boy and an absolute pleasure to take out. bighug.gif
