If you are interested in rehoming one of our dogs, please complete our ONLINE HOMING QUESTIONNAIRE. It is always the first step in our rehoming process. Upon application, you must be ready to take in your new dog within seven days. For more detailed information, please see our Homing Process.
Please support our work and help our long stay dogs: Our minimum adoption donation is £175. This supports our continuing rescue work and is non-refundable. We exist solely due to the goodwill and donations of our supporters and volunteers. Our dogs need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes. Our Rescue offers all our dogs back-up for life.
Please note: Dog laws have changed, with zero public tolerance and prejudice against bull breeds and terriers. Our Rescue asks new owners to keep their dog on a lead in public spaces and manage and support its encounters with new dogs and people, so as not to place the dog's life at risk. Destruction and Control Orders are commonplace nowadays.
Gemini's progress through our Rescue is below.
We work with our dogs, who often reveal a different picture and positive skills as they build trust.

Re: Gemini Patterdale DofB TBAss Guildford Kenns
Gemini is only a baby and is the sweetest girl. She worries a little bit about touch until she's learnt to trust you and then she's super affectionate. She met 3 offlead dogs nose to nose on our walkies and had a wonderful time. Gemini is very young and really needs a terrier home to help her build on the lovely skills and personality she has already

Re: Gemini Patterdale DofB TBAss Guildford Kenns
Gemini is a real little GEM . She’s s Young sweet pup who is brilliant with everything and everyone. On our long walk today we got stopped so many times so Gemini could say hi.
She met dogs nose to nose and was good as gold like she’s been doing it for years!
Gem isn’t keen on being handled especially towards her back end so will tend to gently mouth but no aggression just puppy love and once she trusts you enough her wriggling around stops .
She’s an alert , Busy, super excited little patterdale and she should not be stuck in kennels so young .
Experienced Patty peeps let’s get her homed

Gemini is a very happy, busy little girl. She seems so delighted with life when out walking and took an interest in everything. She loved being picked up for a cuddle too, especially as that made her higher up so she could see so much more.

I took Gemini out for the first time today, as already mentioned she is a very friendly little girl. She is easy to get out and bring back into the kennel block. She is just so full of enthusiasm enjoying stopping to sniff at new smells as well as having a good roll around in the grass. Gemini is such a delight to be with, I really do hope she doesn't remain in kennels for too long.

Gemini is an adorable little girl, full of enthusiasm and love! She enjoys exploring, we took her down to the stream and she loved running around in the water and exploring all the plants nearby as well as rolling around in the grass after. She's a great walk, and we took for a little jog (about 100 meters, as that's all our fitness levels can manage) and she loved it - I think she'd make great company for a keen runner, she's got the energy for it.
She's just very sweet, very interested in her surroundings - we did encounter a few other dogs, one of them barked at her and she barked back but other than she didn't pay much attention to them.
