Burt's Story: Burt and his brother were surrendered to our Rescue by his owner, who didn't want him anymore. Rescue Remedies offered a Rescue place saving his life. Burt is now neutered, chipped, and vaccinations are in progress. Burt was in boarding kennels near Gatwick whilst awaiting his new family.

If you are interested in rehoming one of our dogs, please complete our ONLINE HOMING QUESTIONNAIRE. It is always the first step in our rehoming process. Upon application, you must be ready to take in your new dog within seven days. For more detailed information, please see our Homing Process.

Please support our work and help our long stay dogs: Our minimum adoption donation is £175. This supports our continuing rescue work and is non-refundable. We exist solely due to the goodwill and donations of our supporters and volunteers. Our dogs need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes. Our Rescue offers all our dogs back-up for life.

Please note: Dog laws have changed, with zero public tolerance and prejudice against bull breeds and terriers. Our Rescue asks new owners to keep their dog on a lead in public spaces and manage and support its encounters with new dogs and people, so as not to place the dog's life at risk. Destruction and Control Orders are commonplace nowadays.

Ann and I took Burt and his pen mate Ernie out for a walk in the woods this morning. To be honest, we weren't sure this time who was who but we will make sure we know for our next walk. They are two dinky little pocket rockets who kept up a fast pace and absolutely loved their walk. They walked at quite a fast pace and wanted to explore everything around them. Dear little fellas - let's hope they get homed soon. :crossfingers.gif: :crossfingers.gif: :crossfingers.gif: :crossfingers.gif:

new walker gina took burt out on sunday (altho we didnt know who she had at the time) while i had ernie and jan had wilf - three brilliant dogs who all got on so well together - none of these dogs were bothered about going on over an hours walk out in the backwaters of the smallfield countryside - burt so v well behaved and walked v nicely the whole way round and not a bark to be heard from anyone and yes i can see why all the walkers fall in love with this pair of sweeties when they walk them - lets hope these two topdogs are snapped up soon

Ann and I have sorted this pair out - I walked Burt - he is the little dog with more black on his back! He is so very, very sweet - they both are - they both must surely be homed together. Burt is a great little dog and really loves his walk. Once back at the kennels he let me pick him up to dry off most of the mud and then he enjoyed treats in his pen. Lovely, soft coated, sweet natured little fella! :crossfingers.gif: :crossfingers.gif: :crossfingers.gif:

Ann and I took Burt and his brother Ernie out again into the woods. This time we walked them along the road to avoid some of the knee high mud and both little dogs were fine with the traffic. They really are a dinky little pair - so affectionate and such good fun. They got very muddy today and did not object at all to being dried quite vigorously when we got back. They love their treats! angel13.gif]
