Bruno's Story: Bruno was found stray/abandoned and unclaimed within a council pound; he initially went to another Rescue. He was 'too terrier' for his first Rescue, and they kindly gave him a chance and passed him on to us/TerrierRescue. We offered a Rescue place saving his life. Bruno is neutered, chipped, and fully vaccinated. Bruno was in boarding kennels near Guildford whilst awaiting his new family.

If you are interested in rehoming one of our dogs, please complete our ONLINE HOMING QUESTIONNAIRE. It is always the first step in our rehoming process. Upon application, you must be ready to take in your new dog within seven days. For more detailed information, please see our Homing Process.

Please support our work and help our long stay dogs: Our minimum adoption donation is £175. This supports our continuing rescue work and is non-refundable. We exist solely due to the goodwill and donations of our supporters and volunteers. Our dogs need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes. Our Rescue offers all our dogs back-up for life.

Please note: Dog laws have changed, with zero public tolerance and prejudice against bull breeds and terriers. Our Rescue asks new owners to keep their dog on a lead in public spaces and manage and support its encounters with new dogs and people, so as not to place the dog's life at risk. Destruction and Control Orders are commonplace nowadays.

And today Bruno excelled himself walking with Pablo. He was completely chilled out around Pablo and the boys shared a very happy, calm walk together. Bruno preferred to walk in front but he did not make a fuss if he got left behind a bit, he just scurried along as fast as his little legs could carry him until he had caught up and overtaken Pablo. 0028.gif

Bruno is a dear little chap and quite puppy like. It was the first time I met and walked him today and it is obvious that this is a little dog who will learn very quickly once someone takes him into their home and their heart. He so enjoyed his walk and behaved very well. He is indeed a typical little terrier showing a biddable interest in everything around him. He is a diddy little chap - really endearing. :crossfingers.gif: :crossfingers.gif: :crossfingers.gif:

Bruno is young, lively and very affectionate. He really seemed to enjoy a long walk today - particularly enjoyable were the sniffs along the way. He does need to be taught a few manners but they will come as he is very biddable and anxious to please. A dear little dog - let's hope he finds someone who is committed to training him and, of course, loving him. angel13.gif] angel13.gif]

Bruno and I shared our walk yesterday with Teresa and Tia. Bruno and Tia got on famously. In fact Bruno seems to get on with all dogs as there was no reaction when we passed other dogs. Bruno is a typical terrier boy wanting to investigate all the smells and always on the lookout for anything interesting that moves. He has no issues with passing traffic though! Bruno needs an experienced terrier owner who understands the breed with the time and commitment required to continue training him. He is still only a baby but the foundations are there. Such a great little chap - he does need to be taught a few manners and some patience but he is a bright little thing and will learn quickly once someone invests their time and love in this little boy. It was raining but that did not deter him - his little legs wanted to walk far and quite fast. Hopefully he will find his home soon - this little terrier will really enrich someone's life. :crossfingers.gif: :crossfingers.gif: :crossfingers.gif:
