How this lad hasn’t found his home yet is beyond me .
He’s with us for a bit whilst his foster mum is on holiday . I’ve Known Lou Lou for a long time now and it saddens me he’s still at RR.
All he needs is love, time, exit management ( with all terriers) and commitment to his ongoing and outstanding progress with his confidence with passers by ...
He’s come such a long way thanks to Leah .

He was so good today , very proud of you Lil Lou Lou 💙
He told me he misses you Leah

One more sleep Lou Lou and you are back into foster! I've heard you've been such a good boy and all the walkers loved seeing you and walking you. I've heard great feedback that Louie has improved so much since last being in kennels (APR) and the walkers say how much he's chilled out when in public, such wonderful news ❤️.

Can't wait to carry on with our time together to get you your forever home.

Brilliant Leah. What a wonderful thing you have done by giving that little dog a chance to show his character in a home and to shine. So glad you had such an amazing holiday - you will most certainly have needed and deserved it. I bet Louie will be overjoyed to see you. Kiss of love.gif

Louie has settled back into the home environment after 2 week being with his kennels friends. He had a nice time hanging out with the walkers getting lots of cuddles and walks.
Now it's firework season, Louie isn't too fond of the bangs but I find he copes better when he's tucked up and close to me for support and reassurance. I made him a little "bunker" which he seemed to like 😂.

However he loved his trick or treat today with his crew (his muzzle was taken off so he could enjoy the treats and for the photo) ❤️😂

I'll be continuing Louie's training now he's back with me for foster and it's been evident with the 2 weeks of being away that consistency of training benefits Louie with continual direction, commands and instruction to be confident but he's so switched on that this is easy to implement in each walk.

He's such a super little dog with loads of cheeky personality and he loves a rumble and growl and playing ball but he's not too good at bringing the ball back

Nothing deters this little chap from being a happy chap that just lives life in his stride!

You've done so well Lou Lou over the past 6 months, so proud of you little man!

Well this is the last week of having Louie in full time foster as my commitments during the week have changed.

From the dog I brought home to Foster back in April, a scared dog that scampered away and lunged at most people, to the dog he is today that has gained more and more confidence with life. I'm so proud of the journey he has been on and the trust he has put in me to show him the way.
If anyone is serious about wanting a loving, Affectionate, cheeky, happy dog and will commit to continue Louie's confidence training / support with humans he deosnt know, then this little legend is for you. Please read my previous posts to get all info on Louie!

So another long weekend with Louie, it was so cold out we had little walks but spent alot of time snuggling, chilling and playing indoors. He had his walks with his crew on Friday and today, so he still gets to see his mates twice a week ❤️.
He's back at kennels now until Friday and I look forward to seeing him again. He's such a beautiful little dog, so loving and playful and cheeky when he wants and likes some "me time". He is so responsive to instructions but "leave squirrel" is still posing a challenge 0002.gif]

An early start for Louie today before going back to kennels. Oh how he loves his walks with his friends. They didn't care how cold it was, they were just having fun in the creek 😁
See you on the weekend Louie you little legend!

"MUSTS" for Louies forever home:
- A calm home
- NOT to live in a super busy area
- No small kids
- No furries (cats, rabbits etc)
- Will keep him on lead. Louie will dart off after a furry. Also due to his anxiety to strangers (lunge tenancies) A long line lead is perfect for him, gives him space to run while being attached which allows to control distance when needed.
- Will continue with his confidence and working with him so he can trust you
- are OK with a dog that barks at outside noises
