Bonnie's Story: Found stray/abandoned and unclaimed within a Welsh council pound. Rescue Remedies offered a Rescue place saving her life. Bonnie is neutered, chipped and vaccinations are in progress. Bonnie was in boarding kennels near Guildford whilst awaiting her new family.

PLEASE NOTE: Dog laws have changed, with zero public tolerance and prejudice against bull breeds and terriers. Our Rescue asks new owners to keep their dog on a lead in public spaces and manage and support its encounters with new dogs and people, so as not to place the dog's life at risk; Destruction and Control Orders are commonplace nowadays.

PLEASE SUPPORT OUR WORK AND HELP OUR LONG STAY DOGS: Our minimum adoption donation is £175. This supports our continuing rescue work and is non-refundable. We will offer an alternative dog should our dog not settle in your home after adequate time and reassurance. Our Rescue offers all our dogs back-up for life. We exist solely due to the goodwill and donations of our supporters and volunteers.

Please click for Bonnie's thread to view regular updates, new pictures and videos. To apply to home a dog, you must be ready within seven days and complete an online homing questionnaire. We work fast to secure our dogs their loving homes, and may be talking with up to 10 families at any one time. Please remain open: We have the dogs we have. Our dogs need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes.

Bonnie a fantastic young girl .On our first meet Bonnie had just arrived in kennels and was quite unsure and nervous of all these new strangers eager to meet her. Hesitant with harnessing at first this could be a new concept to her ,so we introduced slowly with treats and soft voices and once she was harnessed we calmly walked the kennel run taking in her new kennel friends.
As it was her first walk she joined our new boy Snowy another super friendly Staffy for a parallel walk so we could relax and settle her.
Bonnie was very happy with her new companion, walking side by side taking in the country walk.
As Bonnie is new to kennels we shall continue to walk and assess her with different kennel friends.

Bonnie was out with walker Rob today, I had a lovely happy girl approach with no signs of the nerves that id seen yesterday a back and tummy rub and she was off on her way.
Smiles a wagging tail and a quick cuddle on her return , she's clearly been loved by her previous owners.
This followed by a photo shoot , Bonnie was loving all the attention so it was not easy to get stationary photos of her. But what a stunning and photogenic girl she is with a gentleness to her. I don't think she'll be with us for long x

Bonnie is an adorable, very pretty, very affectionate young Staffie bitch. She is very easy to walk and constantly checks to ensure she is being good. Yes she is a little unsure of herself which is not surprising, but she has all the makings of a wonderful addition to any family. I have only walked her once so far, but she appears very non aggressive regarding other dogs. She really just wants to please and be loved.

Little Bonnie is such a cutie and so friendly, we had a short walk today with equally as cute Milly and her walker Linda.
Both dogs behaviour towards each other was friendly and they were very relaxed together and walked happily alongside each other. Bonnie was a bit nervous of having her harness put on but she let me do it no problem, just a bit unsure of it bless her.
After our walk I sat in her bed with her for 10 mins giving her cuddles and she lapped this up, she really likes a fuss and strokes and so wanted to be as close as possible. In short she is an adorable little sweet heart. love4.gif

Bonnie is Homed!
The lucky girl gets to go home with Zoe and Lizzi, who were so excited to meet her and Bonnie reflected that enthusiasm right back at them, jumping for joy throughout the meet with endless cuddles and face washes
She knew she had found her home !
Thankyou so much Zoe and Lizzi for adopting this sweet girl ...
