Molly (Doris) Lickle Staffie x EBT DOB 2012 - 3rd February 24

Homing Requirements: Doris will need support settling into a new home after over six months in kennels. She deserves a secure garden or area where she can achieve an off-lead expression of her energies. Rescue Remedies do not advocate our dogs are off lead, as they need support to ensure all off lead encounters are supported by their handlers. Doris needs stability and commitment from her family.
Current Status: Homed

Her Story: Doris was found stray and unclaimed. After two false pregnancies, she is now spayed. Doris is fully vaccinated and chipped. Doris is currently in kennels near Broxbourne, Hertfordshire.

Advert: Doris has been waiting for a home far too long and in ordinary times she would have been homed in a flash. She has good dog skills now, which have improved over time due to the kennel owner's focus on her socialisation.

Doris a compact little Staffie with a small wedged face, reminiscent of a Miniature English Bull Terrier. Her photos make her look far bigger than she actually is. We think she is around two years old. Her family will cherish her... no doubt about it.

Doris came out for the day with me on Thursday. She had a lovely bath when we got to Guildford kennels and then a lovely walk by the with by Karen.

We then travelled back to the vets to collect the lads who had been parked there for neutering. Doris went straight on to the vets table as I had noticed she was either in a false pregnancy or outside chance about to give birth as her teets were full of milk. Lara ultrasounded her and concluded she thought she was not pregnant, her body will have to ride through her false pregnancy

An update on Doris, she isn't dog un-friendly! We have a female GSD stray in over the weekend and today her and Doris spent some time together in the yard. This morning Doris was a bit excitable and overly playful, but this afternoon when I put them together she was a lot calmer and more respectful. Adam

One or two photos of the pretty Doris:

Concentrating so hard on a treat

Even when it was six inches away from her face she wouldn't take it until she was told she could - such a good girl :)

As you can see Sarah didn't want to put her down so Doris took full advantage

We all fell in love with her - such a sweetie :)

Little Doris popped into the front passenger seat today after a walk around the field. She waited very patiently whilst I walked Tom & Bella.. Tom returned we were off to Chessington. She was a delight to share my cheese roll with! At the kennels she had a lovely time in the paddock and attempted to play with Bella through the fence.
