Pablo's Story: Pablo was imported from the United Arab Emirates via Dubai by another Rescue. He was homed, and then was sold through a free ad for £100. The receiving family, despite meeting him, then claimed he was 'too big' and 'too puppy' and phoned rescues asking them to take Pablo. Texts turned to emails, and then urgent pleas. Rescue Remedies offered a Rescue place saving his life. Pablo is neutered, chipped, and fully vaccinated. Pablo was in boarding kennels near Guildford whilst he awaits his new family.

If you are interested in rehoming one of our dogs, please complete our ONLINE HOMING QUESTIONNAIRE. It is always the first step in our rehoming process. Upon application, you must be ready to take in your new dog within seven days. For more detailed information, please see our Homing Process.

Please support our work and help our long stay dogs: Our minimum adoption donation is £175. This supports our continuing rescue work and is non-refundable. We exist solely due to the goodwill and donations of our supporters and volunteers. Our dogs need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes. Our Rescue offers all our dogs back-up for life.

Please note: Dog laws have changed, with zero public tolerance and prejudice against bull breeds and terriers. Our Rescue asks new owners to keep their dog on a lead in public spaces and manage and support its encounters with new dogs and people, so as not to place the dog's life at risk. Destruction and Control Orders are commonplace nowadays.

I had the privilege to meet and walk Pablo today. WOWSER! Pablo is nervous and a little skittish but I got a lovely welcome in his kennel and he was no bother to get ready and exit the kennel block. He is nervous around other dogs, so he relaxed more once we got away from the noise of the kennels. Pablo walks beautifully on the lead, almost prancing along, but taking his time to stop and investigate all the smells along the way. He is so soft, both by his nature and his silky fur. What a wonderful, lovely natured boy.
.........and just look at his magnificent ears.....

Pablo is stunning - in looks and nature. He still has some puppy bounciness - but what a pleasure that it to see. Walks very well with only occasional moments of uncertainty. He knows sit and tries his very best to keep his bottom on the floor but those sausages are sometimes just too tempting - so you might get a hug instead of a sit, bless him. For one so young and without the best start to his life, he is very well behaved and lovely natured....with a little sprinkling of puppy playfulness. What more could anyone wish for??? Xx

I got to walk Pablo last Saturday and it was a total pleasure. He feels very puppy-like in that great inquisitive, happy way. He listens well and beams a smile often. I have to admit I was totally smitten by this young happy affectionate chap.

My first walk with Pablo yesterday and what an absolute pleasure. Poor boy has been passed from pillar to post in his young life but has taken it all in his stride. Pablo is a lovely, friendly boy. He doesn't always walk in a straight line and can be quite skittish at times but is a young boy who is willing to learn and so wants to please. Pablo needs to get out of kennels and into a loving home where his new owners are going to be fully committed to him and make him feel loved and cherished for once in his life. He so deserves a chance of happiness. Great boy love4.gif xx

Louise and I had a truly wonderful walk with Vince and Pablo this morning. The boys were polite and respectful of each other from the beginning. Pablo being the less confident of the two, drew confidence from Vince and in return, Vince looked out for Pablo and made sure he was keeping up. It was lovely watching the communication between the boys. We watched Pablo's confidence grow as the walk progressed. Here are some video's to gave a flavour of our walk.
