Charlie's Story: Charlie was found stray/abandoned and unclaimed within a North London council pound. Rescue Remedies offered a Rescue place saving his life. Charlie is now neutered, chipped, and vaccinations are in progress. Charlie was in boarding kennels near Gatwick whilst awaiting his new family.

If you are interested in rehoming one of our dogs, please complete our ONLINE HOMING QUESTIONNAIRE. It is always the first step in our rehoming process. Upon application, you must be ready to take in your new dog within seven days. For more detailed information, please see our Homing Process.

Please support our work and help our long stay dogs: Our minimum adoption donation is £175. This supports our continuing rescue work and is non-refundable. We exist solely due to the goodwill and donations of our supporters and volunteers. Our dogs need supportive families who will offer them patience, time and tolerance whilst they settle in their new homes. Our Rescue offers all our dogs back-up for life.

Please note: Dog laws have changed, with zero public tolerance and prejudice against bull breeds and terriers. Our Rescue asks new owners to keep their dog on a lead in public spaces and manage and support its encounters with new dogs and people, so as not to place the dog's life at risk. Destruction and Control Orders are commonplace nowadays.

Charlie had been my shadow for 2 days now, travelling on the passenger seat yesterday for nearly 2 hours and then this am and pm to and from the vets. We were bestest of friends from the outset and he is very gentle and welcoming. He has had good training and offers his paw to please.

Haven't managed any pictures but I may vet has managed to 1st vaccinate, neuter and clip his claws... He is a beautiful boy and a beautiful soul.

Charlie is a gentle, friendly, mild mannered boy. Although he is quite big and strong and has a real presence about him, he is gentle natured and keen to be friends. He got a gold star from me this morning by being, by far, the easiest dogs to photograph. He is certainly very handsome too.

We spent some time with Charlie this weekend and he really is the most lovely dog. Someone has obviously invested a lot of time with him in the past as he is really well behaved. When you get a treat out for him he is always ready with his paw and is very gentle taking it from you. He loves to be stroked and if you stop the paw comes up as if to say please don’t stop.

Unlike some boxers who can be very springy on the whole he was placid and didn’t get over excited. The only time was when he wanted to give me a lot of licks to the face 0002.gif]

He is good around food, we left all of the internal doors open and he went in the kitchen but didn’t jump up on the side or rummage through the bins, a perfect house guest.

He was good and gentle around the girls and loved attention from everyone. I am sure he will be snapped up soon as he really is adorable.
