Yogi is an amazing dog. Most mornings I'm woken with a loud puppy like play bark from him when my oldest who's the first to go downstairs to get ready for school. Then I hear the scrabbling of feet as he bounces around him. My son plays for a few minutes with him- yogis favourite game is tug o war. (Surprisingly yogi wins🤣). He is a very soft gentle giant and those eyes!!! He is a very very loving dog that we've seen bloom. His relationship with my boys is just too cute and he loves the attention they give him.

He will tolerate the cat in the same room as him if the cat does not move. So if the cat is sitting still on a high up piece of furniture yogi almost ignores him but as soon as the cat goes to move he’s a bit too attentive. It’s fair to say he is not cat friendly. 😔we tried many different types of introductions We have had Akita’s and cats before and tried all the tricks we knew and then some more but it wasn’t to be...But he is huggable, unbelievably playful and a big lovable fur baby and when he pushes his head through your arm to rest his head on your lap for a tickle or to see what you are doing he makes your heart melt ❤️❤️ He’s also comfortable and considerate around my children( ages 8 and 12).

Yogi bear met Will today and they had a lovely walk together. Will decided he would offer Yogi his home for life, and they were soon travelling back to his sea side home to explore the 'good life'

Our thanks to Verdi, Janine and boys and their lovely cat for offering Yogi refuge and helping him enjoy life again beyond kennels.
